We recently moved from Ogden to Boise and have just been introduced to pickleball. I tweaked my lower back and after a couple of days of unrelenting pain, I started searching for a chiropractor. Many years ago, I visited a chiropractor when I tweaked my neck and it was not a good experience so I was wary but desperate. It turns out, Boise Chiropractic was just a few blocks away and had good reviews. Dr. Spainhower has totally changed my apprehension about the profession. After a short interview in which I told him I did not want to give up the game, he quickly located the offending muscles and proposed a plan that spanned several weeks. He then made the first adjustment and showed me some exercises to do at home. He got on the floor to demonstrate the correct movements and introduced me to an interesting app that also pictured the exercises and tracked my progress. I was encouraged to wear a brace for a while which he gradually weaned me off of. Nearing the end of the “plan” he was satisfied enough with my progress that he canceled the last scheduled visit. We talked about the movement that caused the tweak and how to avoid that in future games. Yes! He cleared me to return to pickleball! I have a few core exercises that I have done over the years. The last visit, I showed him and he modified the movements for safety, then explained and demonstrated a few great core exercises he uses. Dr. Spainhower is very knowledgeable and professional. He is also very patient, listens to your goals and I never felt rushed but I never had to wait long for my appointment. He is not only personable but he is very kind and caring. I am very grateful and can highly recommend him.

Boise Choropractic has been amazing for my son. Great staff and clean and nice atmosphere. Dr. Spainhower is extremely knowledgable and takes his time explaining everything along the way.

My husband and I both started seeing Dr. Tod several weeks ago, and from the first appointment, it was clear that he was significantly more knowledgeable and experienced than other chiropractors we've seen. He strives to understand the patient as an individual and tailors his treatment approach in kind. He is also friendly and funny; it's very easy to feel comfortable around him. We also appreciate that he teaches us exercises to do at home to maintain our improved function. It's also nice that patients are offered complimentary use of their hydro-massage bed in conjunction with their appointments. We've achieved a great deal of symptom relief since starting to see Dr. Tod, and we will continue to see him for maintenance. I would highly recommend his services!

Dr. Tod began helping me manage my migraines in 2010. With his chiropractic adjustments, exercise recommendations, and nutritional supplements I've been able to lead an active, healthy, and mostly pain free lifestyle for twelve years now. He has also helped me heal various sports injuries, and overcome muscle tension brought on during stressful times. I would highly recommend Dr. Tod to anyone who wants to feel better and live an active healthy lifestyle. He genuinely cares about his patients and listens to make sure he gives you what you need to feel better. Thank you so much Dr. Tod for all that you do. 😊

I have been visiting Boise Chiropractic, with Dr. Tod, for nearly two years. I have always felt I was in good hands and all of my chiropractic needs are taken care of. I always feel like I am the most important patient in the office when I am visiting. He is very knowledgeable... I have seen several chiros in my day and I am "home" at this office. I also appreciate how Dr. Tod will demonstrate at home care and stretches.

So incredibly thankful for Dr. Tod! I have been struggling with hip pain on and off ever since 2010. Dr. Tod was able to use a variety of techniques and knowledge in order to get rid of my hip pain all together! I know that I wasn't able to follow his plan closely enough and make it to every visit, but he was more than willing to start back off exactly where I needed and never once gave me a bad time about it. He is willing to work with your schedule and do what it takes to get you pain free! You can tell he has a lot of experience and compassion for his patients. He is very personable, unlike many other chiropractors that I have experienced, and is THE BEST at what he does! Thank you, again, Dr. Tod!

On my initial evaluation, Dr. Spainhower spent a good deal of time asking questions and listening to the reasons I was needing treatment and my goals. He was very friendly and warm and helps make you feel comfortable. His office worked with my insurance and was very upfront about scheduling and billing. And best of all, after six visits, my back and hip pain had been alleviated substaintially. I've been to some chiropractors who just try to get you to keep coming back forever, but Dr. Spainhower's worked to fix things up within the number of visits allowed by my insurance and was very upfront about his goal to get my issues to a better place and then to only need regular maintainance visits once in a while. Highly recommend.

I am so grateful for Dr. Spainhower. On top of being an incredibly kind, caring man, he knows EXACTLY how to make my back work, consistently relieving pain. It is not an exaggeration to say that he has changed my life, improving function and relieving pain. Tracy and Dr. Tod are extremely accommodating and often get me in to be seen before I expected an appointment would be available. So thankful for Boise Chiropractic.

Went to Boise Chiropractic and Dr. Spainhower helped my back pain go away. He was very knowledgeable with the latest techniques and always made sure I got the best treatment. I am so thankful for his kindness and tenacity to get to the bottom of my back issues and has gotten me to the place where I am now pain free. He has given me my life back and now I'm training to run a half marathon in July! Dr Spainhower is the best.

I've been going to Boise Chiropractic since I was a kid. Tod is amazing! His bedside manner is fantastic, his adjustments always leave me feeling so relieved, his staff is kind and getting an appointment is never a hassle. I would highly recommend Tod and Boise Chiropractic to anyone that is looking for a fantastic chiropractor, who cares and wants you to be healthy and whole.

I was paralyzed in a diving accident when I was 19. Against pretty stiff odds, I have come back in increments over the course of time. I have been seeing Dr Spainhower for years. Treatment for my injury falls well outside any "standard plan" and he never fails to be willing to think outside the box, and go above and beyond the call to provide effective treatment, and a plan that provides healing and continued progress. He has gone the extra mile more times than I can remember, both in terms of his time, and research to make sure keeps me moving forward in my recovery. Listening is something I've found in short supply occasionally among medical professionals, but Dr Spainhower's office manner, and willingness to discuss your circumstance and goals, leave no doubt of sincerity, and are certainly refreshing. He has helped me immensely, and I would not hesitate for an instant to recommend him to anyone seeking the highest quality and level of Chiropractic care.

Have been to a number of chiropractors in town and Dr. Tod knows his stuff. He always has a patient's best interest in mind and never treats a patient he doesn't feel he can help. The doc also takes his time and he will put in the extra effort to show you stretches and exercises that you can use to help yourself.

Very skilled, compassionate doctor. Absolutely helped me on the first visit. Tries very hard to understand patients needs. Good listener, asks questions and encourages patient expression. Has a sense of humor. He has all the qualities that make a good doctor. I trust him and he has proven his abilities to me through his healing me, and I am not easy to please.
