Philomena is incredibly gifted! I have seen her twice now to work out stress in my neck and shoulders. She does an amazing job and I leave feeling light and free. The room and table are very welcoming, and she is VERY knowledgeable about how every piece of the body works together. I was so comfortable I almost fell asleep. Unlike a typical resort spa massage, she listened to exactly what I told her, and offered great tools and stretches to help in my everyday life! Highly recommend!

My wife walked into New Beginnings Massage with months of tension in her shoulders and limited movement in her right arm. She walked out with it back. Philomena worked the shoulder and down through the arm, releasing specific points rather than just running through a routine, and my wife described the result as magic. I've since met with Philomena myself to talk about her practice. What stood out is that she treats each person individually — she reads what's actually happening in the tissue and adjusts, pulling from deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial work as the situation calls for it. That's a different skill than giving a nice massage, and it's the reason her clients get results instead of an hour of relaxation. Recommended for anyone dealing with a specific problem they've been told to live with.

Philomena is a unique massage therapist who has helped me immensely with all of my different health issues, aches and pains. She seems to know how to find the stress in the muscles and goes right after them with the technique most apt , be it craniosacral myofacia ,Sweedish deep tissue massage or hot towel relaxation...all techniques used for the price of one massage which is very reasonably priced! Philomena has a very kind heart, good common sense and an understanding of people which helps one to feel quite at ease to talk to, which helps to release negative energies, sometimes cooped up since childhood which can be the cause of physical aches and pains .
