I have been a long time customer of Hand and Stone and have also been to many location s in southeastern Michigan. The best therapist, hands down, is Áine at the Canton location. She listens to what your ailments are and is able to address them with accuracy and a very high level of skill. I’m often shocked that she has any availability as she is great!

My therapist was Marissa. She did a wonderful deep tissue massage with cbd oil and hot stones. I walked in with a horrible migraine and walked out without one so she rocked it to say the least. She started my pampering day off to a great start. I plan on going back and requesting her monthly if the budget allows it.

Aine is wonderful! After years of getting massages from random people, I’ve found my forever therapist. She is so good at what she does, and I am always looking forward to my next massage. As a hairdresser, she has been finding my occupational problem areas and helping me relieve pain I didn’t even realize were affecting my day-to-day. She’s the BEST.

BEWARE! On Small Business Saturday, I purchased the BOGO facial deal from the Canton location. When I bought the gift cards, I specifically asked if I could use them at any of their locations, and was told I could. The following Saturday I had a facial at the Plymouth location (because there were zero weekend facial appointments offered in Canton). When I was checking out I was told the gift card I gave them (one of the two I got the week before), was only valid at the Canton location. I ended up having to pay the full price of the facial that day. When I spoke to the manager in Canton the following Monday, she offered only to comp an add-on at the next facial I scheduled. She took no accountability for the poor training of her staff. (To be fair, the staff was always pleasant - my issue is with the poor training, lack of accountability, and the blaming of “corporate policy” as the reason why I couldn’t be reimbursed for the large amount of extra money I spent paying for a facial I thought I already paid for.) Additionally, I also was not told that Canton only has one esthetician who does not work evenings or weekends. So, as someone who works a 9-5 job, Monday - Friday, it’s going to be extremely difficult to use a facial gift card that is only good for the Canton location. Before all this happened, I was considering purchasing a membership. Now, I will try to use my gift cards, and then never set foot in a Hand and Stone again. I have also shared my story with friends and family members and colleagues, and I know they will spread the story themselves. I hope Hand and Stone will do better for future customers.

Anya and Canton is amazing! I’ve been scheduling massages for well over 20 years, she is by far one of the best massage therapist I’ve seen. She listens to what I want, which is a huge plus for me. I highly recommend her, You won’t be disappointed!

Aine is amazing! As a late-forties woman with chronic upper myofascial neck and back pain, I was so relieved to find Aine when physical therapy failed! My tension has noticeably decreased as my aches/pains continue to steadily improve, and she really listens and puts a great deal of care into every massage. Worth every penny and would highly recommend!!

Aine is a fantastic massage therapist and I highly recommend her! I have a lot of tension and lower back pain. I had not gotten much out of experiences with other massage therapists in the past but was having some bad pain, making it hard just getting around, and thought I’d give it one more shot. I’m very glad I did and went to Aine as she listened to my pain points and worked around old injuries and I was feeling better than I had in months! Maybe years. Even just pain I had gotten used to just during normal movements has seemed to dissipate since my visit. She also has a very calming and kind demeanor that helped me relax. Again, can’t recommend Aine enough, she does great work and I’m much better off for having set up that appointment and will be making it a monthly occurrence.

Everytime they get an amazing Masseuse they let them go. After 5+ years with a membership, I went to someone more reliable. Not to mention they never told me I had 2 free sessions on my account, from when it was still LaVida until I was canceling my membership. That's shaddy business!
