I had a very unfortunate interaction with the owner. I had a less than satisfactory experience with one of the massage therapists, it was a very strange massage and was unlike anything I had previously experienced there. First the essential oils placed under my face gave me quite a migraine. I have a herniated disc in my neck which I acknowledge that sometimes that could be an issue but for me this has never been a problem during massages. For some reason she placed several, and I mean several, hot towels on my neck which was immediately pretty painful as this was heavy to be placed with heat on a herniated disc, no matter how healed. Then she quite literally covered me in lotion, like a ridiculous amount where I couldn't even get dressed, barely touched me and ran out of the room, almost before I could even ask her for a towel (I was literally drenched in lotion) and before the session was supposed to be over. So I was left in more pain plus a migraine with a shortened session and covered in lotion, and I did notice that she didn't greet me afterwards to offer me water and make sure I'm doing good like they usually do here. This was all very strange and bizarre, but I assumed maybe this had to do with inexperience and wanted to leave feedback as to why this wasn't the best experience, especially since this is a luxury service that wasn't cheap. The owner called me the next day, and she was genuinely one of the most hostile and unpleasant people I had ever talked to. I am not a confrontational person, and I do think I was being reasonable in leaving feedback. She called me and told me that there is absolutely no way that any of this happened, and that she "welcomes me to not return". I told her that this was unfortunate to hear because I had such positive experiences in the past there, to which she told me I didn't go there enough times to have that much of an opinion. She kept telling me that I am more than welcome to not return, and at this point I wasn't going to but I just wanted her to tell me directly that she was banning me from returning for having a negative experience. She was avoiding saying explicitly that I could not return, but she kept insisting I was welcome to go elsewhere. I told her I would probably leave a review of the situation, to which she said "well that's not very nice of you". I told her it's not very nice to ban me for expressing concerns with my session. She hung up the phone abruptly, and the next day another staff member called and offered to reschedule me with someone else. I politely declined. I also want to mention that the ramp to get in the door is extremely inaccessible, I am a wheelchair user and it's borderline hazardous the way it is oriented. If I am to open the door, I have to be on the ramp which is difficult, or the door will push me down the stairs. If you use a mobility aid or have chronic pain I would not recommend, not because of the staff but 100% because of the owner.

I consistently receive an excellent Swedish massage from Carmen P. She is wonderful and I always leave feeling refreshed.

Convenient ability to book online, prices seem to be fair, and staff is always friendly when walking in. I've had swedish massages from Megan and Carmen; both were very professional, asked about any injuries or areas to focus on, and overall created a relaxing yet delightfully painful experience. The massage experience was different with each person so you may need to try a couple to find the person you jive with.

Everyone is so lovely and professional!! I get spray tans, they always come out looking so natural and glowy. The color/ spray they use is natural, no chemicals, no fragrance. Thank you New Body Theraputics!

the atmosphere is very nice and the employees are really great and knowledgeable. It was my first time ever getting a massage so I brought my best friend with me who's had hundreds just so I knew what to expect. Even though I had booked us both for a Swedish Massage, both our experiences were different, not sure why. Fast forward to the next day and currently...my back has broken out in acne and is sore, not bruised, but achy and I need to constantly stretch it. My friend is having issues with her neck still. I don't really know what's causing these issues, but not sure if I'll give this place another try. Hope to.

Had an amazing session with Day! Best one I’ve ever had. The pace was super slow and relaxing, and she really took her time. Her touch was patient and soothing, working through any tension without rushing. Left feeling totally relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend!

Massages are thorough and I feel satisfied with the level of care . The ambiance is very relaxing , quaint with an all natural feel, and clean. They also carry Eminence organic skin care line available for purchase. This has been my go to place for 10 years now. And the owner takes pride in her business !

My husband and I have gotten massages from lots of fancy spas but we both agree that New Body Therapeutics is hands down better than all of them, despite being far less expensive and more convenient. This has been our go-to place for years now. We have never had a bad experience.

Carmen is THE best for prenatal or deep tissue massages. She hits all the sore spots and her pressure is a 10/10. She knows exactly where I am hurting and focuses on those areas. Her technique is the perfect combination of relaxing while releasing muscle tension. I highly recommend booking with her!

We booked the massage together and my partner felt she was treated rudely by staff and left massage in more pain then when she arrived. I just wanted to relax. She was 10 min late. No biggie. They started to say she couldn't come then I guess said she could. My massage was decent and good service. A water bottle would have been more appropriate for the prices. They just give you a small cup. Building set up was a little hard to walk around. Left a good tip anyway. She was crying afterwards so I guess wasn't good service for her. My service was fine so I can only guess as there were no patrons of color or staff of color this may have been a factor of race. Perhaps her beauty was intimidating.
