2 years agothey charged my mom and aunt over 400$ for a new set of acrylic nails, a fill, and two pedicures. never in my life have i ever been charged that much. buyer beware, their prices are made up on the spot and insanely high for a nail salon. if you’re gonna charge that much, at least provide the client experience and quality nail designs to justify the cost. my mom requested american flag painted on two nails and this is what she got. they couldn’t even get the american flag color right on the left hand. the american flag does not have blue and white stripes and stars with a red background. and they want to justify the cost?! i have also included the reference photo.
the second set of nail photos, her middle finger nail isn’t even straight, and they out this set on. she’s been going here for a over a year. this was more involved as a design and they charged between 80-90$ FOR A FILL. just goes to show how inconsistent the pricing is and how they make it up on the spot.
the third set of nails shows the reference photo and the actual set of nails. not even close and no realistic expectations set of whether they could achieve that look or not. they didn’t even try to shape the nails that way and the matte nails are bumpy. again, poor quality.
lastly, once your finger nail reaches the end of the acrylic, about every third or fourth fill, they want you to get a new set of acrylic nails put on. the guy says that it keeps the nail bed healthy and never have i ever heard of a nail salon doing this. where is the logic in it? just another money grab!
again, if you want to charge lots of money, at least provide the quality work and customer experience to justify it.
