I had never been to a head spa before and decided to treat myself for my birthday by taking the day off and giving it a try after finding this place on Google. I am so glad I did! I called that morning to book and they got me in quickly at a convenient nearby location in Powell. They sent directions and waiting room instructions via text ahead of time, which was such a thoughtful and helpful touch for a first timer. When I arrived, my technician was not there for the appointment. I texted the number and Sara responded instantly, getting me rebooked at the Polaris location at no charge. That kind of customer service is rare and I really appreciated how quickly and kindly she handled it. At Polaris, they again sent instructions ahead of time and I was seen right away. My technician did an absolutely wonderful job. I was so relaxed I actually fell asleep! For my first head spa experience, this could not have been a better introduction. If you have never tried a head spa, this is the place to go. It makes a perfect birthday treat or just a well deserved reset. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at the Head Spa! My first visit was not a great experience and I shared my feedback via text with the owner. They quickly rectified the situation and gave me a complimentary service. My second visit was much better - super relaxing and my hair & skin felt amazing afterwards. I would definitely recommend the Head Spa for their services in the future.

I recently visited The Head Spa Columbus at the Polaris location inside Sola Salons and had the most relaxing experience! I booked the Restore Package and it was absolutely worth every penny. As a first timer to a head spa, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Delilah Rose made the entire experience incredible from start to finish. She was so friendly, welcoming, and truly talented — her scalp massage and overall technique were beyond relaxing. The atmosphere was calming, clean, and you can tell this family-owned business genuinely cares about their clients. Extra kudos for supporting a small family business that puts so much passion into what they do. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning my next visit. Highly recommend booking with Delilah Rose if you’re looking to treat yourself!

I had the most incredible experience with Daysha! I came in for a head spa treatment, facial, and a neck and shoulder massage, and it was pure bliss from start to finish.The head spa was so relaxing and left my scalp feeling completely refreshed, while the facial made my skin glow. The neck and shoulder massage was exactly what I needed to melt away all my tension.

Today I had an appointment for the Spring Renewal head spa service. It had its pros and cons. The cosmetologist (Ms. Briaunna Smith) was gentle. I was dissatisfied that the 75 minutes was for the entire appointment. My appointment was at 1:30 and I was brought back exactly at this time. This means that the 75 minutes begins when you are brought into the room and are asked questions about the pressure you’d like, if you’d like a heated eye mask, whether or not you want essential oils on your warm towel, other intake questions and changing to prep for the service. Then at the end (2:36 based on the clock they had near the door), I got changed and did the post scalp analysis. The actual head spa service is preformed for around 60 minutes. For the price and unclear service time I would not return nor would I recommend it to others. Paying $135 + $10.80 tax + $20 tip for a 60 minute service that was advertised as 75 minutes is frustrating and overpriced. Spa days are part of my regular routine so I recommend saving your money for services that leave you feeling relaxed and not discontented.

Excellent first time at the head spa! Valeria was very thorough in making sure my experience was personalized with frequent check ins for temperature, pressure, etc. I really enjoyed the pre and post scalp analysis too- very cool to see the difference! My hair and scalp have never felt better and I left feeling so relaxed. Would definitely recommend

Sigh, where do I start?! This was BY FAR the best self-care experience I’ve ever had. Lexi was superb and I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the entire experience was from beginning to end. My hair feels soft and luxurious! Highly recommend treating yourself to this experience!!! Felt better than a therapy session.

TLDR: Amazing experience! This was truly an amazing experience, from making the appt with Penny's help on the phone to the actual appointment. I booked appointments for myself and my mother. We both have sisterlocks. I had Valeria and Mummy had Daysha. Valeria and I will be seeing each other more than she would like from now on (lol). I have had many massages before but I have NEVER been more relaxed in my life. From the aromatherapy to the pressure which was exactly what I wanted. Her technique was on point. She checked in with me every step of the way to make sure things were good. I will definitely be back. Mummy had similar things to say Daysha and also had a fantastic experience. Thank you all for making our day amazing!

In town for a work conference I didn’t want to pack all the things needed to wash my hair. I’ve gone to a salon while traveling for a blow out before but seeing The Head Spa come up in my search, I decided to try something new. I am so happy I did- who doesn’t want to have someone rub, massage and wash their hair for them?! It was a great experience and confirmed I’m taking care of my scalp with the analysis (I’d been curious as I like my dry shampoo!) Very relaxing and my hair feels (& smells) amazing to boot!

I loved my 90 minute service. I saw a social media post for this place and booked immediately. I was in need of a little TLC. I booked Daysha. So glad I did. She ended up being a curly hair specialist. My hair is a bit fried from a recent color job and she recommended a deep conditioning masque. Daysha stepped out of the room so I could undressed and get under the covers and get comfortable. The bed was a warming bed and it felt a little warm initially and when she came in, she turned it down a bit, but in retrospect, I started to get a little bit chilly toward the end with all of the water and I wished I had kept it on warm but not a big deal. The bad itself, the bedding and the towel wrap were all very soft and comfortable, and it felt very plush. One thing that I was impressed by was that they had a towel wrap that fit around me. I’m a plus sized gal and I was a little concerned, but the towel will wrap was even a little oversized on me and it made me feel good. I was very comfortable and could have taken a nap right there. Now, onto the service. It was otherworldly. I think I blacked out a few times and had delicious dreams. I was so comfortable and cosy. There were so many levels to this service that I couldn’t keep track. One lonely daydream to another. There was warmth, coolness, water, various scrubs and potions and lotions and massage doohickeys. I don’t know what was happening, but it just felt amazing and I didn’t want it to stop. 90 minutes went by really fast. There are two things that I think would make this service a little bit better The first is that there should be something like a 5 to 10 minute pause after the service where we can just kind of sit with the relaxing music playing as our hair is drying. That way, there isn’t a need to get up immediately with the blood rushing to your head, and then also my hair was pretty much dripping wet at the end so I felt a little awkward Trying to get dressed again and hold the towel to my head. I think there should be something like 10 minutes maybe 15 of time to slowly get up, get dressed and then potentially the ability to comb my hair. My hair is textured and curly and so it was just left wet and tangled. If anything, we could be given the option to use a comb. I opted not to get my hair blown out so the time could have been used for a quick comb and scrunch. I ended up going straight to Sally Beauty Supply to get the masque she recommended and I bought a comb and went to the bathroom to detangle and clip my hair up. Overall, this was amazing and I’d do it again! It’s not cheap. It was worth it for a massage, facial and all the things she did to my head and hair!
