Geri is such a talented stylist. She strikes a great balance between really listening to what I want while still giving her insights as to what will actually work with my hair and daily habits. I always leave our appointments feeling and looking like a better version of myself. And her new shop is so fresh and cozy. Congratulations Cry Baby!

Geri is the best! It’s sometimes hard to find your trusted hair person (especially if you have bangs!), so I’m so glad I found Geri/Cry Baby!! Ha, she has been so patient with me and has navigated me through many hair changes. And her advice on care/upkeep has made a pretty big difference in how I feel about my hair. Thanks Geri!!

I’ve been seeing Geri for my hair for a few years now. We do blonde highlights, play around with different cuts- I am always so happy and my hair has never looked better! She also gives the best scalp massages. Highly recommend her!

Space is cute! The ladies are great! The name of the spot is perfect, because I always cry while getting my hair cut. I have been seeing Geri for several years and I’m never disappointed! She works her magic every single time.

Alyssa consistently makes my hair feel fresh + fabulous! I’ve seen her for years and she’s co-founded this new salon. She listens and interweaves requests (specific or vague) with her expertise to create the best outcomes, including keeping my hair healthy with different methods. My cuts and colors are always better than I imagined! She’s also kind, smart, and funny - I enjoy every minute hanging out with her while she works her magic💛

Crossing paths with Alyssa was one of the best things that could have happened to me. I dearly needed a haircut but what I received was much more than that. Cathartic in ways I had not yet experienced, all while taking care of my long locks. (15 inches gone!) The care Alyssa gave my hair was intentional, possessing vast knowledge of my hair type. Our conversation about the energy and emotion contained in our hair was something I will remember for quite some time. Thank you for allowing the tears and tissues! I will be back! Also. My hair LOVES Alyssa! So bouncy now. :)

Alyssa is amazing. I have been going to her for my hair cuts/trims since I moved to Portland and my hair now is the healthiest and longest it's ever been. Her guidance on products to use has been a game changer in my routine. The best part of every service with her is the insane scalp massage during the wash. She'll spend her time making you feel taken care of. It's a huge part of what I look forward to when I'm getting my cuts. 10/10 experience.
