The office space and room are nicely set up and very clean. The receptionist was friendly and professional. Yilin was very thorough in gathering information to assess what specific needs I might have. She incorporated some stretching into the massage that proved to be helpful. She spent time with me afterwards to show some exercises and offer suggestions of things I could do on my own to help out. She was very pleasant and professional throughout checking in from time to time to make sure I was ok with the pressure and stretching. All in all a very nice massage and experience.

This was my first visit to Mandarin Massage, and it was transformative. I've had massages from a variety of practitioners for decades, in many countries. This was the one of the deepest and most thorough I've had. The space is very comfortable, "E" is relaxing and professional, and I will be returning. Thank you!

The massage was exactly what I needed. Yilin was not afraid to go deep into my muscles and tissue to get to the root of the problem. She is also very friendly and easy to talk to. The atmosphere was calming and relaxing. I am definitely coming back soon.

Yilin got me in on very short notice but was still very warm and welcoming. She was able to find a lot of the trouble spots and I felt so much better afterwards. She also sat me down and took me through some stretches and exercises to help with my main issue. Definitely would recommend her to anyone

I got recommended by a Portland friend to go for a deep tissue message here. this is a new business, but the owner Yilin is an experienced licensed therapist and I happened to be in town (I live in Seattle) so I decided to give a try. I often have strained back muscles due to work, so I'm usually skeptical about deep tissue massages because the ones I had in the past are all pretty weak and weren't quite "deep". that being said, I'm actually pleasantly surprised by Yilin's strength during the massage! I felt like my muscle knots have smoothed out and I feel so relaxed afterward. she also made it a point to let you know that she can go lighter if you feel like it's too strong, which is very accommodating. besides the massage itself, the whole experience overall was super nice too. Yilin greeted me with a friendly smile. checkin was smooth, I just needed to sign a form on the ipad. before the session begin, she has this cool little dial to let you choose the combination of themed mood light and brightness in the room. I chose the forrest theme (green and blue). then, she offers 3 different essential oil for you to choose from. you can also skip if you don't like essential oil. the bedding and linen she uses also felt premium and comfortable, it's not the cheap disposable plastic lining a lot of places use. the room is small, but it feels clean and cozy. Overall, her massage and professionalism earned my trust and I would 100% come back whenever I come to Portland. Price wise, she's on a little more expensive side but I've had worse massage for more. this is worth every penny. I have no bad things to say about this place so give this place a try and support a local small business! (btw, Yilin also speaks chinese!)

One of the best massages I've ever had. I seriously thought I had melted and became one with the table. She did some techniques I've never experienced before, which were amazing. The office is in a great location with parking - very cozy and quiet. I will be back (next Saturday!), and I highly recommend.

The best massage I’ve had in a long time. Yilin was very friendly and knowledgeable, and was great about adjusting pressure when asked. She found some spots I didn’t realize were tight until she helped loosen them up. I will definitely be coming back!

I was in Portland for business and had strained my back moving some heavy things and was looking for a good massage therapist when I found Mandarin Therapeutic Massage online. It was 1 o'clock in the afternoon and I didn't really expect to get in that same day. But I left a message on the website and Yilin called me like 2 minutes after I left the message! I was pleasantly surprised by the rapid response and even more so when she said she could get me right in. So we set an appointment for 3 pm and I got an Uber over and got a wonderful massage. I was a massage therapist myself years ago and I was quite impressed with her skills and her competence. She's strong and does deep tissue work, exactly what I was hoping for. Highly recommend! I definitely hope to book another session next time I visit Portland!

i was in so much pain for 2 weeks i almost could not move somedays. until i saw Yilin. i’ve now been pain free for 4 days. i suffer from chronic inflammation and i genuinely can’t remember the last time i wasn’t in at least a low to medium level amount of pain. Yilin is incredibly talented at what she does. her technique can be intense at time but she checks in with you every step of the way and it is well worth it. i will absolutely be back again and again. thank you so much Yilin
