The intro to Cumbia classes I took with Diana were hands down the best class experiences I've had. Diana's vibrant energy, humor, and kindness were always present in her instruction and it made the whole group at ease. The space is also really inviting and beautiful. We were a small class that had a lot of fun together; lots of laughter and encouragement from everyone in the space. Diana really made it feel like a community and I had SO much fun! I can't wait to come back for more classes in the future. Thank you Diana!!

Learning to dance Cumbia at Reveal Healing Arts Studio is pure joy. You quickly come to understand that community and diversity are sacred in this space. It’s been an amazing experience to come together with other dancers to learn and share this beautiful art form. It’s not just about perfecting the steps; it’s about the joy of moving and connecting with others. Diana is a phenomenal teacher — patient, encouraging, and dedicated to helping every student succeed. I can’t recommend Reveal Healing Arts Studio enough! It’s the perfect place to grow as a dancer, connect with others, and celebrate culture through movement.

This is the second month we have taken Cumbia Foundations with Diana at REVEAL Healing Arts Studio and we love it! The space is perfect and intimate and although it is a group class, Diana ensures each student gets individual attention. We took Cumbia Foundations twice to nail down the skills we gained and because we couldn't fit the next level into our schedules in September. There are also numerous opportunities to come by the studio for Dance Socials for more practice. We are very excited that Cumbia 1 will work in our schedules in October and cannot wait to gain more skills!

I took a beginner cumbia drop-in class, and Diana was fantastic! She is so knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. My familiarity with cumbia is very little, but she seamlessly filled in the gaps between foundations in such a small amount of time. In 1 hour, I went from feeling hesitate and unsure to confident and having fun. I struggled with integrating a partner at the end, but she very quickly identified the mistake I was making. Her explanation of what I was doing clicked right away, and I was able to fix my movements easily. I definitely will be coming back and recommend anyone who has been interested to take the leap!

I’m currently taking Diana’s Cumbia class, and I can honestly say—it’s an absolute blast! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, encouragement, and an atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. We had so much fun in cumbia foundations, it was fun, inviting, informative, and safe space to learn cumbia basics. My husband and I were looking to get more comfortable dancing as a couple at family gatherings. Our confidence grew SO much with Diana’s instruction. We loved it and plan to take more classes with her, we enjoyed dancing and having fun after a long work day!
