I’m so happy I found Akemi, an excellent massage therapist. She listened carefully to my needs and worked on my whole body using all her integrated massage therapy skills. I left feeling rejuvenated after every visit. Can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend her.

Akemi is special. Her attention to me as a client is impressive. She follows what she finds in patients. You can go in thinking you know what the issue you are having is, then minutes later with her expert work and full discussion of what she is finding, you can end up realizing something else is the cause and get that addressed. She is focused on long term healing. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting NW Massage Hero!

Absolutely outstanding! Akemi is the most talented massage therapist I've ever met in Oregon and that's really saying something because, due to auto injuries, I've received nearly 300 massage sessions since 2017 with a wide variation of practitioners. Akemi takes the cake as the most experienced and skilled. I only wish we had met sooner!

Went to see Akemi with lower back pain and spasms.. she provided treatment focused on the problem area including deep tissue massage, stretching, heated compress. Very knowledgeable with info for your wellbeing. My body felt refreshed and the back pain is gone. Highly recommend.

I just had my first massage with Akemi at NW Massage Hero. It was amazing! We talked about the pain in my neck and shoulders and my swallowing problems, then she focused on the muscles that needed treatment. She was very knowledgeable about muscle structure and function and was a great teacher, too!

Akemi presents such a nice warm and inviting personality. The space is quiet and calm with a very relaxing environment. Great, quality massage and she really listens to feedback, ensures you are comfortable during the whole process. Definitely will be going back!
