I have many pain issues and felt much better after my first massage with Joan. She is extremely knowledgeable, skillful and intuitive about her work. I've had many massages through the years and she's a rare gem. I am very excited about continuing to work with her and the progress we will make on releasing pain in my body. The massage was relaxing and so helpful.

My years-long search for a massage therapist is over. Joan is incredibly intuitive and skilled. She mixes and adjusts technique on the spot based on your body's needs and response. My husband has been going to her for a long while and finally was able to convince me to give it a try (I had given up on finding someone my body clicked with). I'm so glad!

I have been seeing Joan for many months now. For context, I was struggling from cervicogenic vertigo and was fairly debilitated in my day-to-day with a little help from physical therapy. This impacted my ability to walk, drive, and sometimes do anything other than sit and work, which would aggravate the issue. Seeing Joan initially, I had my first 24 hours without any vertigo! Since that time, my vertigo in combination with physical therapy has mostly got me back to myself. A long time ago, I trained as a massage therapist, and can vouch that Joan is really well trained across multiple types of massage and very experienced. She balances gentle soothing techniques with knowledge of musculature and some spicy intensity/pressure where I need it most. Not only is she a skilled practitioner, she's also an absolutely delightful person whom I look forward to seeing when our appointments come around. I would give her more than 5 stars if possible!
