Ok grab your popcorn…. I had a huge knot in my shoulder so was desperate. Google came up with this place nearby with an appointment available. I booked online and got a confirmation email back. I arrive about 15 minutes early and as soon as I walk in a woman comes running down almost panicked. I said oh I’m here early for my appointment. She said “no too busy. Too busy.” I said ok well here is my confirmation email. She said oh ok come back at 230. No big deal I head to target for some dog treats. Head back to the “spa” and am greeted by a different woman….zero English I had to speak into her translator. She said no too busy. I explained in her magical device I had an appointment that was rescheduled. She then says ok and I take a seat. A very happy man comes down, am I insinuating anything here? Yes. Yes I am. He kept chuckling saying thank you thank you I’ll be back. The woman gave him some candy. I proceed to turn on my location just in case. Then a phone call comes in she starts looking out the windows through closed shades. This is now heading into Dateline/investigation discovery stuff. “4030 okay 2 people.” Keeps repeating this on the phone while still looking out the window. I guess she hooked a couples massage. Weird since they both said they were too busy. I did hear the man on the other end and he sounded demanding. She calls me and then asks me to pay prior no big deal I saw this on their website. She brings me back to the room. Check out the sign posted on the wall. I debate to just run out but it’s too late now I’m in survival mode so let’s just go with it. I leave my watch on just in case. Massage was good. I left my pants on yes I did. Just please get my knot out. These were the most tense 40 minutes of my life. Is this how I go out before turning 40? She wrapped my head so tight in a towel I’m not sure what was going on. Massage over I’m still alive thank god. She leaves my door cracked open as I get changed. That’s cool. At least I left my pants on. Another man comes in. Hey he didn’t have an appointment but it’s okay. I proceed to swiftly walk out say my thank you no candy offered. I get in my car lock the doors. Laugh and say “ok I’m alive I’m in my car let’s gtfo here before I’m loaded up in this minivan next to me” Yea they got a good business here um massage was okay? Shower with scalding hot water when you get home to get the oil off. Use antibacterial soap all over and if you have a knot? You’ll live book for your regular safe spa.

I absolutely love it here! But with that being said, let me say this. This is not the place you go for a relaxing spa day, as mentioned in other reviews, you can hear the traffic. I personally don’t care, I don’t come here for relaxation, I come here for relief as I constantly have tightness in my neck and shoulders and knots all over. They are a little heavy handed with the massages and I love it! I need it and I yearn for it!! I will never go anywhere else as long as this place is around. They are skilled with their hands and I always leave feeling amazing. The prices can’t be beat for this area and especially considering they use hot stones at the end without an added charge. I always tip their requested (now) 25% because the massage alone would cost me that much at other places in the area. The language barrier does make scheduling and communication a little difficult but again I don’t care because the massages are worth it. They also now have a scheduler who speaks English well and answers the phone sometimes and books appointments. All in all I love this place and I highly recommend it to people who want or need a great deep tissue massage at a reasonable price.

I used to get massages monthly from different places around the Main Line. Amy and Nancy at Massage Remedy really stand out for their strong trained targeted massage which focused on my pain points and the reasonable price $70 for 60 minutes. I was so impressed I got a gift card for family. We had no appointment but just called and walked in with 5 minutes notice.

Awful silly business ran by mediocre jokers that think they can tell you how much to tip. Atrocious customer service, everything about this experience just reeked of unprofessionalism. After an abysmal massage and shorting the time by almost 20mins these bozos then proceeded to demand a 25% tip. Please save yourself the headache and go anywhere else.

Cute place. Decent massage but pressed a little too hard. 45 min massage. Paid $60. Gave her 20% tip of $12 and she laughed at me like she was mad didn't tip more. I think 20% tip was acceptable on a 45 min massage. I found that extremely rude to treat a customer that way paying 20% tip.

My mom and I went here for massages just after Christmas. It is located on a side street next to the kop mall, so a very convenient location. While at times there was a bit of a language barrier, both my mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Very deep massages and priced reasonably. Both masseuse were very nice and did excellent work. I would go there again and recommend to a friend.

After a long work week, I decided to treat myself to my first massage ever. I live very closed to this establishment and saw decent reviews so I gave it a try. I had booked my appointment a few days in advance online to reserve my spot. Upon arrival, she had told me they were closed for the day. I was a bit confused as I had a scheduled appointment. She told me she wasn't aware of this but to give her "a few minutes". I waited in the room almost 30 minutes past when my appointment time was just for her to come in and start the massage. She did not have music playing and all I could hear was the sound of the road nearby. She was also sick and kept clearing her throat every minute or two and even ran out for a cough drop mid massage a few times. I don't know why you're operating under those conditions personally but maybe that is my fault for staying. The massage was okay but I felt as though I could have asked someone in my family to perform the same technique. After she was finished, she had taken my cash off the table and told me she would come back with change and "discuss the tip" with me. I was a bit confused at the time but shortly after she caught me up to speed on what she had meant. After the service I had received with trying to turn me away & forgetting my appointment, coughing nonstop during my "relaxing" massage, and being late, I really did not want to leave a tip as I was not in the best of moods. My massage felt rushed and not relaxing at all. She handed me my change and reluctantly I handed her a five dollar bill just to be kind. She immediately pointed at a sign on the wall and said a 20% tip was basically required since it was a "personal service and not a restaurant". This comment angered me even more as she must have not had any clue as to how her sickness or scatterbrained self effected my experience. I thought it was downright rude to tell me how much I should tip you. I handed her MORE money and walked out. I don't know how you expect to have repeat customers when your customer service and communication is so poor. I will definitely be going elsewhere for a more pleasant experience.

I will be coming back to Massage Remedy! Absolutely amazing place to relax and have your worries melt away. My husband and I booked a 90 hot stone massage and it was THE BEST place I have ever booked! Plus I am 14 weeks pregnant and other places I have contacted said they do not work on pregnant women but the ladies at Massage Remedy were more than happy to accept my business! They were very sweet, well priced and absolutely fantastic!

My mom and I went here and this was my first massage experience. It was absolutely amazing and the women were so nice and so good at their jobs. Definitely go there if you want a great massage and relaxing experience.
