I never post reviews but my experience with Joe at This Massage Place was that good. It was unlike any other massage/treatment I've had before. It was a personalized therapeutic massage and bodywork session. I had such tension in my neck and shoulders walking in. He was so knowledgeable about body movement and how improper movement (or lack of movement!) affects the body and causes stress. He found tightness in muscles all over my body and was able to relieve the tension I didn't even know I had in those muscles! I left there feeling light and honestly physically better than I have in a long time. Definitely my new go to place for massages! Highly recommend.

I’ve been having pain lately and I’ve tried other massages and medication. Nothing worked until I came here today. I was a little nervous at first but Joe made me feel so relieved and like a brand new person. I will definitely be coming back.

I've been living with sharp pain in my thumb since jamming it hard in an accident 9 months ago. I was ready to go to a doctor, thinking I might need surgery. I'm so glad I decided to see Joe first. No more pain! I don't need surgery! Joe is an amazing professional! I highly recommend him! Thank you so much Joe!

Joe is an amazing massage therapist and I wouldn't see anyone else! I give him the highest recommendation and have sent all of my friends / acquaintances his way. I've been a client of his for more than 5 years, and he has helped me so much. What started as therapeutic and sports massage for my rock climbing and yoga hobbies quickly turned into monthly wellness visits just to keep my body feeling good. He's helped me with back pain, neck pain, headaches, hip pain, sciatica, and so much more. No matter what issue I bring up at the start of an appointment, by the end it's always significantly improved, if not gone altogether! I especially recommend him for prenatal and postnatal massage. I saw Joe for every month of my recent pregnancy and I credit the work he did to how easy my pregnancy was, how well my labor went, and how well I am recovering now! He has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and is always seeking new trainings and workshops to gain more skills. And you can tell that he really cares about each and every one of his clients, not like some of the big-box massage places.

Having had many massages over the past 20 years, Joe is one of the very best massage therapist’s there are. I’ve benefitted from his therapeutic massage work for the past few years at other places and now at his own practice. For me, Joe’s shoulder, back, and hip work are incomparable. The tendonitis in my shoulder is now virtually nonexistent and I have full range of motion again! Very convenient hours. Very clean & relaxing atmosphere. And I always feel like a better person walking out of his place.

Joe is one of the most amazing massage therapists I have ever had. He gets to the root of the issue, and somehow knows exactly where that is. He is very intuitive. And, I think he has ruined other massage therapists for me. Thank you, Joe. Can’t wait till my next session!

Joe is simply amazing and a miracle worker. He identifies problem areas that I didn’t even know existed and works the muscles back to normal. The pain relief, stress relief and my overall presence of mind is vastly improved. I don’t get to have a massage as often since we have moved, but every time we are in the area- I make it a point to schedule a visit!

Joe does an amazing job and was able to take me previously from a really bad pulled muscle/sprain that left me nearly immobile to returning to my normal function in about a week with no lasting pain or awkwardness. Absolutely excellent experience and he really knows what he is doing (when he could call out my flight sitting preference from how my body was at rest, I don't think impressed begins to cover it).

I had my first massage about a week ago. I booked because I was having a lot of neck and shoulder pain and consistent headaches. I have grown accustomed to this, and usually just take ibuprofen and move on. This day the neck and shoulder was intense, and honestly just sick of taking medicine almost daily, plus not good for my health. So anyway, I saw Joseph 1 week ago…and I have not taken ibuprofen a single time since. My neck and shoulder pain has gone from a solid 8 to about a 2 or less, and he even showed me a couple stretches to help keep it pain free while at home. He was extremely professional, understanding of my pain not being driven by much more than just daily life, and kind. I absolutely recommend him and his service 100%.

I had been suffering from what I thought was a migraine headache for 3 days. Just today I realized it was really a sinus infection. I wasn't able to get a doctor's appointment for 24 hours, so I quickly made an appointment with Joe for a head and sinus massage. Within an hour after my appointment my headache was gone thanks to Joe! I'd much rather treat illnesses naturally than by taking meds if possible, and thanks to Joe I was able to do that.
