I had a great experience at this massage therapy session. It was a new experience for me, and I was very impressed. The therapist focused on the tightness in my back and neck, and I could really feel the difference afterward. Mr Guy was professional, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the session. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for relief from muscle tension. Great experience!

I was in town visiting and was recommended to Guy from a friend. Upon hearing my past history and concerns, he was able to use a method to aid in my shoulder to help with an issue that was going on in my elbow, among other things. Felt immediate relief and would definitely recommend them to anyone that is in the Rapid City area. A great place for various treatments...massage, hot stones and light therapy to name a few.

Fantastic massage. I was stiff from holiday activities. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours of inquiry and the therapist Guy was great. He made sure I was comfortable at every step and was conscience to my aches and pain areas. The facility is well maintained, peaceful and relaxing. I adore the bright yellow rocking chairs in the entrance.

1 star for price, 1 star for availability (weekends and afternoons), and 1 star for courtesy. If you prefer a reasonably priced massage that doesn't put you through a little pain, this is the place to go. Irene is very faith-forward and I would say holistic in her practice so if that isn't your cup of tea, you have been notified. I scheduled a deep tissue massage with Irene. She was VERY gentle. Too gentle. When she asked about the amount of pressure she was using, I asked for more pressure, which I didn't get. She said a pain of 4 or 5 is when I should tell her to stop, but I never made it to a 1, in fact. I FELL ASLEEP! She did use several different methods to target tight spots which did help. However, i scheduled the massage because I have been experiencing pain in my shoulder and neck. She used some sort of light therapy patches on that area and after 24 hours, it doesn't feel any different. It seemed like Irene glossed over the parts of my body that I really needed work on and used other methods that might work, but will take time. This might be ok if you have time to go in for a massage every 1-2 weeks, but I work full time and have 2 kids. It is a challenge to get in even once a week. I would have preferred a more aggressive or firm pressure so I can go longer between massages.

I am so incredibly grateful I found Guy Siverson! I had the pleasure of meeting his beautiful bride today, Irene. What these two are offering the city of Rapid City and beyond, is absolutely something I have never had in my entire lifetime! 20 years ago this month my life was changed dramatically and I’ve probably had over 500 massages since then. What Guy gave me was something that nobody else has ever given me and that was allowing me to breathe again. The stress I was under when I met him completely evaporated the next day after he gave me the gift he gave me! I would highly recommend these two, I promise you will feel better in a way you have never felt before!!

Booked a couples massage and got the additional cupping for me ($20) and hot stones ($20) for both, 60 minutes. The first ten minutes and last five were talking to us. They did an intake with most of the information that was already provided when we booked online, then made a 'car-salesman' pitch about a tool they used that was similar to a massage gun. The last five minutes we were told to sit down and leave a five-star review for $20 back as we were watched by the workers. During the massage, most of the 'techniques' for massaging were stretching with light usage of the Milwakee massage gun. We both ended up feeling worse by the end of the night than we did prior to going, and a week later we have tighter necks and backs to the point of genuine pain rather than mild discomfort. The 'cupping' tool was a larger form of what you use for babies to get mucus out of their noses mixed with a smaller form of a turkey baster. There was no relief after this single suction cup was run over my skin. The 'hot rocks' was one large, zig-zag stone that was rubbed up and down our legs and back twice and then never used again. The only positive we can see was the oil used didn't leave an oily or sticky residue and had a light scent. This experience left a bad taste in our mouths as far as 'professional massages' go. It wasn't effective and we didn't get the full benefits of what we paid for. We were severely disappointed and I would caution against anyone going here. This business had great reviews so we were optimistic, even after the sales pitch at the beginning that felt presentational rather than genuine (in which the 'almost 600 five-star reviews' was mentioned). However, I see how the pressure of sitting down with them watching you write a review might impact the review given, along with a minor refund. Edit: After seeing their response, this is quite clearly an AI-generated response to my concerns. Concerns are dismissed and this makes the customer seem incompetent, irrational, and uninformed. This is an... interesting way to address every concern, especially when there is no humanistic approach and blatant lack of empathy. Correct, these services are not for everyone. However, I did hours of research to find something we would both enjoy within this area (Rapid City). It's unfortunate and petty that my concerns are not only entirely dismissed, but done so in a way to make it seem like it is my fault. Thank you for "reading and replying".

What an outstanding experience. I went in for a couple massage with the wife, not really having any aches or pains that I wanted to complain about. I left with relief from pain I didnt know I had. I suppose I had just gotten so used to the tightness and aches that I didnt realize it wasn't normal. Guy and Irene were extremely personable and professional and made us feel as welcome as a member of their own family. Guy even was able to pick up on some hip issues I had without me telling him about the issue... without him working anywhere near my hip. The work they did on my wife and I was life changing, and we will absolutely be coming back.

I was really impressed with the massage I got from Guy. He used various modalities I had never experienced and I felt way better after my 90 minutes. I’m a 70 year-old female competitive sailor, who had been rear-ended by a hit-and-run driver right before my 6 week solo road trip visiting friends, family, and the Dakotas on to Vancouver and then across the Canadian Rockies driving East. I knew I was gonna need a few massages along the way. Guy listened carefully regarding my injuries and former surgeries (joint replacements) as well as my hopes for the massage and asked for feedback during it, which I really, really appreciated. The massage therapists I have been to in the past have asked for all the information upfront and then with a few exceptions where I initiated some comments or requests, the sessions would proceed without interaction or feedback. I love how Guy asked for feedback frequently so that I could tailor the massage to exactly how my body was reacting throughout the session. Wish I didn’t live so far away in New York State or I’d come regularly!

⭐☆☆☆☆ I booked a 90-minute deep tissue massage hoping to relax and get relief from some significant muscle tension. Unfortunately, I left feeling just as tense as when I arrived. At the beginning of the session, I was encouraged to switch to the therapist's preferred method, which included a loud percussion device. I agreed because I trusted his expertise. Throughout the appointment, there was also a surprising amount of discussion about how his methods differed from other therapists and references to his many five-star reviews. What made this experience disappointing was not the technique itself, but how I was treated when my body didn't respond the way he expected. I was repeatedly told that I was one of the most difficult cases he had worked on and that most clients would have relaxed by that point. Rather than feeling supported, I felt as though I was being blamed for not improving quickly enough. As the session went on, I could sense his frustration. There were repeated comments about not having enough time to work on certain areas because too much time had already been spent elsewhere. Instead of feeling relaxed, I felt increasingly stressed and uncomfortable. The session also ended noticeably earlier than the 90 minutes I paid for. At the end, he commented that he noticed I hadn't left a tip and mentioned that he usually likes to see one. I found that inappropriate, especially after an experience that left me feeling criticized rather than helped. Afterward, I visited another massage therapist and experienced more relief in 30 minutes than I did during this entire session. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I left feeling unheard, still extremely tense, and disappointed overall.

I had the pleasure of meeting Guy and Irene through a business interaction, and it didn’t take long to realize how truly genuine they both are. During our conversation, Guy noticed an issue with my shoulder from an accident I had over 10 years ago, while even still wearing my jacket. He offered to work on it, and within just a few minutes I felt a level of relief I didn’t even realize I had been missing. This was actually my first experience with any type of massage, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The care, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. It was a comfortable, pain-free experience, and I’m genuinely looking forward to going back.
