Not transparent about pricing. Was looking for a new acupuncturist so tried this place based on reviews. Called asking about price before booking, was told around $150, asked again after providing my insurance information, again told around $150. Went for my appointment and still couldn't tell me what I needed to pay. Got the treatment which was just ok. Was told after they would bill me. More than a month later, the invoice is $236. I called their billing department about the difference in what I was told before and the invoice. They took no responsibility for the wrong information provided, all they had to say was to check with my insurance. My issue is not with my insurance, it is with the lack of clear pricing information that could easily be provided before making an appointment. For a place that touts "wellness" and does "holistic" practices, its sad that their business practices are misleading at best, profit driven at worst. Would not recommend supporting a place that values money over people.

Taryn Jansen LMT worked on my nech and shoulders, and I felt very good afterward. She was able to pinpoint where I needed the most work done, and was receptive to my feedback.

Monica was amazing. Very thoughtful with questions, checking in with my comfort level once we started the acupuncture. The time flew by and I came out feeling rejuvenated. 10/10 would recommend.

Tanya is an awesome acupuncturist! I’ve been receiving treatment from her for 10+ years & she always helps me recover from the various ailments & challenges I’ve faced. I’ve went through multiple family losses & Tanya has helped me navigate the grief that is showing up within my body. Thank you for being so wonderful Tanya!

Excellent massage with Taryn today. My sore muscles really needed this. Also had a wonderful experience with Tanya for acupuncture and Dr Higginson for chiropractic appointment. Very caring providers

All the staff at North Portland Wellness Center are so nice and helpful! They do a wonderful job at making sure I feel heard and supported. Dr. Mary Chen has a very warm disposition and helped me feel really comfortable during my visit.

Monica Z is a stellar acupuncturist. They have a very calming energy, are an intuitive listener and I always leave feeling much more grounded than when I came in. Highly recommend.

I have received treatments here from several practitioners. I regularly receive acupuncture, chiropractic, and have recently added massage. I have a lot of back pain due to multiple spinal issues and an old car accident and the help that I've had here is better than what I've had almost anywhere. My favourite part is knowing that everyone works together to make sure I am getting the treatment I need. Shoutout to Taryn Jansen for amazing work getting out deep knots gently. I actually fell asleep while she was working on one of my most tender and difficult areas. Highly recommend. Monica Zimmerman has been poking me with needles for well over a year and it's made a tremendous difference for me. Cannot say enough good things. Sabrina Dupuis was the best chiro I've had in 8 years of being in Portland fulltime, and I'm so sad she's moving out of town. But based on my experiences with everyone else, I'll still stick with NPWC. (Also, they take my insurance, which has been so hard to find)

The session was great , I felt very good after the session . I went for knee treatment ( minuscus ) I liked the music and the whole place vibe . The challenge was the stairs going to the second floor ( having a knee problem is not easy) and, the very long paper work to be filled. I think they should have a shorter one for out of town visitors. I definitely will return to my next visit .

I cannot recommend Mary Chen LAc enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. Her professionalism and deep knowledge of acupuncture were evident throughout the entire treatment process. She took the time to listen to my concerns and tailored the session to my specific needs. The clinic is calming and well-organized, which added to the entire experience. If you’re looking for a skilled and compassionate acupuncturist, Mary is the best!

Monica Zimmerman is an amazing acupuncturist. I’ve been going to see Monica for a few years and they always make me feel better. I’ve had quite a few injuries and a lot of pain that has pretty much gone away after working with Monica. Monica has supported me physically and mentally. I highly recommend their services.

Fantastic clinic and staff. Knowledgeable, personable, professional, and great at what they do! I’ve had wonderful Chiro results with Sabrina and have received excellent Acupuncture care from Tanya. Highly recommend!

NPWC is a beautiful space in north Portland. The office and building are well kept and cared for…everything you’d hope for in a wellness center. The staff are professional and efficient. I’ve seen many massage therapists for recurring back and hip pain. Taryn and Margaret stand out - Taryn will always provide tips for stretches between visits. I appreciate her professionalism, warmth and expertise. Highly recommend !

I have been seeing massage therapist Taryn for a few months now and this is the least amount of pain I've been in in years! I have also seen a number of their acupuncturists and all are great. I highly recommend! Take care of yourself with their help <3.

I had my first experience with acupuncture the other day and was really pleased with the experience. I worked with Tanya Zhu and she was fantastic. She really took the time to try and understand the issues I'm dealing with and gave me the best care I could have hoped for. I look forward to more sessions and making more progress.

The clinic is easy to find, and street parking is generally plentiful. Inside, the clinic feels like a sanctuary.... calm, warm, and soothing! I was there to see Dr. Dupuis, and she's just fantastic. I always appreciate a care provider that isn't just skilled in their craft, but actually delights in it, and Dr. Dupuis is *clearly* an absolute nerd for chiropractic!!! She takes pride and joy in her work, and that absolutely comes through in the care I received. Will definitely return!!

I was referred to Sabrina for chiropractic care. I had chronic hip pain for 4 years and she took time to ask questions to help find the problem that Western medicine doctors were only guessing about. In just 1 visit I felt immediate pain relief and have progressively gotten better over our appointments. I highly recommend her. She listens and is easy to talk to, she's relatable and just a lovely human. I decided to take advantage of acupuncture while I was at the Wellness Center and set an appointment up with Mary. Was not disappointed. We spoke about some issues and then she got to work. I walked out of there feeling like a brand new me!
