The SOMM is worth the splurge. We got married last weekend and wanted to do a mini-moon locally so chose to stay here after hearing the buzz. The rooms are so nice, thick luxury towels, amazing bedding, great coffee in the room. So beautiful and unique. Maybe the best surprise was the filtered water bar in the hall. It was so fresh and just good, feels weird to be so excited about water but here we are. We walked to the trail, ate in the restaurant, wandered to the roof for the view. I love my complimentary bag and will use it a lot!

What a delightful new gem right in the heart of Woodinville wine country! From the moment you drive up to valet, the staff are warm and hospitable. The hotel is designed with impeccable attention to detail, from the lovely decor to the comfortable rooms. It’s an easy walk to countless wine tastings or enjoy a stroll on the Sammamish River Trail. The restaurants have a classy but comfortable atmosphere and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning in the future!

We did an anniversary staycation here and it was great. We got a free room upgrade and the room was large and beautiful. The bed was super comfy. Did the reds wine tasting at Obelisque (so yummy), then had at Bin 47 inside the Somm which was DELISH. We went there for breakfast too! Both the dinner and brunch menus were amazing and so delicious! The spa was all booked up since we did this getaway last-min, so we borrowed the hotel’s bicycles and biked along the Sammammish river, which was flat and scenic and just lovely, and got lunch up in Bothell. Such a relaxing getaway and so easy from Seattle, required no planning. A very memorable and relaxed romantic anniversary. We plan to come again after one of the summer concerts at Chateau Ste Michele.

The hotel itself is nice and most of the general staff truly do their best, but I would strongly caution anyone considering hosting a wedding here. Gretchen, who helped coordinate day-of details along with food and beverage, was wonderful and did a great job. However, the overall event oversight and planning process was frustrating due to inaccurate information, lack of attention to detail, and inconsistent communication from the event team. The contract language was vague, and explanations we were given during planning did not match what actually happened in the end. Alexis and Kristi Collins seemed very new in their roles, and it showed in the lack of clarity and accountability throughout the process. The venue is beautiful, and the location near Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery is a major reason we chose it. Since this was their first wedding, we expected a few minor issues — but not the level of disorganization we experienced. During the reception, staff repeatedly cleared full steak dinners and cocktails before guests were finished, which forced us to reorder items and increased our overall cost. Additionally, concessions that are fairly standard at other Marriott properties were presented as special exceptions, which felt either uncompetitive or overly rigid. If you’re considering a Marriott venue, I recommend looking at other nearby options, especially the W in Bellevue. If you can keep your guest count around 100, Willows Lodge is also an excellent choice — my sister had her wedding there and the food, atmosphere, and service were noticeably higher quality. Many things went well, but the lack of reliable event management and follow-through makes it difficult to recommend this property for weddings. If you care more about service and execution than the location, I strongly suggest exploring other venues

We're so excited to have a new hotel right in the middle of all the wonderful Woodinville tasting rooms. The location is perfect, and walkable to so many tasting rooms and restaurants. We enjoyed the roof top restaurant for drinks and apps, then dinner downstairs at Bin 47. Both were delicious and service was friendly and quick. We mainly stuck to wine, but the cocktail menu has unique and interesting combos, and the one cocktail I had was very well balanced. We did the wine blending experience, which was led by a very knowledgeable somm who made it fun and stress free. He even poured a little for our pregnant friend just so she could enjoy the aromas with the rest of our group. We also enjoyed massages at the spa. The look is very calming and peaceful, with all the amenities you'd want in a full service spa. There's a women only steam and sauna, and lots of amenities to clean up and get ready to go out after your services. I particularly enjoyed blending my own aromatherapy, and still use the little bottle of my custom scent at home. The rooms are cozy and all the little details are how I like them (good shower pressure, excellent bathroom lighting for makeup, nightstand charges, lots of storage). I particularly liked the espresso maker in the room with the latte option. I prefer lattes in the morning and have never seen this option before in a hotel. We self parked because we drove in the wrong way, but next time would use the valet. Thank you for a lovely stay! We'll be back.

From the valet,(Which was amazing with my husband in a wheelchair an walker) The front desk was wonderfully everybody was fantastic. We ate at the shed twice was amazing. The service was very attentive. Bin 47 was very creative and very good food. I can't say enough about this hotel I haven't had experience like this in a very long time . We travel high-end resorts all the time this will go down as wonderful memory. I definitely will stay at SOMM, if I'm in this area again.

Family booked me a room, since they had been here before and loved it, and now I know why! Not one glorious touch went unnoticed by me from the cedarwood scented air inside the lobby to the "wine stain" carpet design. The room was spacious, comfortable and I loved the motion sensor under vanity lighting in the bathroom. The entire place is beautiful. An extra fun touch is the wine blending experience you can enjoy. I loved my stay.

We chose this marvelous hotel as a peaceful escape for our dog, who’s especially frightened by fireworks. Staying over the Fourth of July, we were amazed that the room was so well-insulated we didn’t hear a single boom. On top of that, the restaurant above was phenomenal. Chef Josh made it a point to come out personally to check on my partner and me, ensuring we were enjoying not only the incredible food but also the atmosphere. It was that personal care that made our entire experience truly unforgettable. We are so looking forward to being back for our next Staycation.

I absolutely LOVE the Somm Hotel and Spa. The rooms are such a treat, with mattresses and pillows so comfortable. The way the hotel was designed is so beautiful as well. Love the restaurants! The rooftop/shed is such a fun place to get some food. LOVE the energy. This is definitely a place I will come back to again and again.
