Annie is amazing! I came to see her with a frozen shoulder and on my first visit my range of motion improved significantly. After a few visit’s I almost had my full range of motion back . I can’t say how much I appreciate her . Thank you Annie !

I started seeing Annie during my recovery from cancer treatments and surgery. My body was very stuck and stiff from all of the time I had spent in bed, and I was trying to regain some movement. Annie was kind and supportive, and so very knowledgeable. I always felt comfortable, and never felt judged for giving voice to my pain. In addition to being a listening ear and a great body worker (using many different techniques), she worked on my scars and encouraged me to look deep in to how they made me feel. She was always careful to employ treatments that were safe, effective, and tailored just for me. She also explained everything, helping me to understand how my own body works. I would recommend Annie to anyone who is looking to feel better in their body.

I went to Annie a few months ago (sorry for the delayed review Annie!) for four or five appointments as my lower back issues were long-standing, and frankly I enjoyed the relaxation and learning of each session so much I wanted to keep going! Unfortunately I had to leave for the UK but I would have persisted with treatment otherwise. Annie is a wonderfully calm, present, skilled medical professional, genuinely motivated by wanting the best for her clients, and impressive in her anatomical knowledge and ability to assess and deliver what is needed. I was very happy with the welcoming, relaxing experience of every session (in a peaceful home which was lovely to visit) and the improvements Annie's work and advice made to my general well-being. My sciatic pain and long-term lower back pain was reduced to differing extents which changed with each attempt, notably improved after some visits. It was wonderful to feel an unexpected lightness, freedom of movement and strength through my body when walking after sessions, due to Annie's precise manipulations of dense fascia, freeing up body parts which I didn't realize had an issue! It was rejuvenating! I've since had other experiences focused on stretching fascia and along with Annie's input I can see that my fascia is definitely the thing to continue working on! Thank you Annie for your guidance and attentive healing. Highly recommended.

I began seeing Annie for Bowen four or five years ago for pain in my lower back and hips, which often traveled up to wreak havoc in my shoulders and neck. It had been pain that I had been dealing with for a number of years and was working with a chiropractor in Seattle to manage. What I noticed immediately after my first visit with Annie is that the treatment was very gentle. As I continued my visits it became interesting that as gentle and nonintrusive as the treatments were, they held for weeks at a time. Pain diminished significantly after each visit and stayed away for longer periods. I have not seen a chiropractor since I began working with Annie. I also noticed that I began making healthier food choices without exerting much effort. Potato chips and Kind bars lost their appeal. Also interesting to note, I have not had a massage appointment since working with Annie because as much as I love a full body massage, the relief from a Bowen Treatment with Annie creates an openness in my body that lasts for sometimes up to 2-3 months. I have no idea what Bowen does to my body but the result is powerful and long lasting. I give Annie credit for making me a more supportive parent, friend, sister and community member because I no longer have to manage and negotiate a body that hurts. Meg Hozack

Annie is an absolute joy to work with & has helped me recover my body in so many new ways. Her work has relieved major tension, has released stored trauma (some of which I wasn’t even aware of, and she held space so well for me to process physically & emotionally!), has allowed for all sorts of new healing, and opened new opportunities for growth & movement. As a 42 yr old retired professional downhill & enduro mountain bike racer, who started the sport late in her 30’s and acquired numerous injuries & surgeries along her path to test her limits as an athlete, & her body’s potential, this has been the best path for treatment. PT, massage, chiro, acupuncture and reiki have all been helpful, but Bowenwork, and specifically Annie’s gentle & clearly communicated practice, have been the most beneficial. I’ve seen the most major shifts happening physically with Annie’s treatment. This has included working on surgical scars on my forearm, knee & chest areas, as well as areas of internal scarring due to impact on the lower back and above the brow line on my face, as well as a four-time severely sprained ankle. To say I walked in “feeling broken” and walked out feeling like a new woman is a bit of an understatement, but that’s basically my experience. I feel freer in my body today, am able to breathe deeper, walk differently & more balanced with a more engaged spine, have had lower back pain (as a result of major myofascial trauma) relieved, have had more overall flexibility and am holding less tension. Annie’s home office is incredibly comfortable, inviting & professional, and she is consistent with client communication & scheduling. I found it refreshing to work with someone who really takes the time to document & address in detail not only a client’s incoming ailments, concerns & limitations, but also each session’s work and all progress made. Her genuine concern for her patients’ well-being, and her passion for this particular type of therapy make her a most effective healer. She’s also just an overall cool lady. : ) I recommend Annie 100% and know who to call if I need her again!

Annie's work is so subtle that you would not expect it to achieve big results. But she was able to help me resolve stubborn respiratory issues that I had been dealing with for years. Not only are her techniques effective but she is also full of helpful suggestions and encouragement for (simple) lifestyle changes that have helped as well. I feel grateful to have found her and will definitely return to see her if needed.

Annie is skilled and very knowledgeable at what she does. I came to her to see if she could help with unexplained swelling and pain in my knee. Though she was unable to totally resolve the issue, it did improve. What I appreciated most about her was that she took time to explain everything she did and noticed about how my body worked. A surprise was learning other parts of my legs were extremely tight and throwing off my gait! Along with body work, she taught me moves and stretches I could do at home to continue my progress. All around a great lady and body worker!

Living over half of my life in pain, with a lower back injury, nerve issues, sciatica, and cervical degenerative disc disease, I feel like I've been through the ringer with chiropractics, massage, and various other forms of woo woo. After being gifted a coupon for Annie's work, then lightly researching the Bowen theory, I was prepared for a little more woo woo, and little expectation for any lasting improvements. I'm sure Annie sensed my reservations. Her caring eyes, gentle soul, and thorough assessments got my attention. I left each session feeling about the same as when I entered. Then I began to notice 2, 3, and sometimes 4 days after the sessions, an elasticity of sorts that I hadn't experienced in years. It felt good. It began to influence me feeling lighter in other areas of the body and mindset. I was implementing yoga simultaneously, and I highly recommend the combination to anyone living in constant back, shoulder, and/or foot pain as I do. I was given exercise suggestions to take home and never felt like constant appointments were ever an agenda. Annie's only agenda was implementing her experience to alleviate a respectable portion of a lifetime of my limitations, which she did.

I never imagined when I went in with TMJ pain how much my life would changed. I got so much relief on my first visit and Annie has helped to increase my mobility in areas I didn't realize were so limited. I feel more open and able to move so much more freely. What I though was just how my life would be with age isn't the case. I'm so grateful for her patient guidance. I have never felt so at ease with a provider. I highly recommend her. Annie is an excellent Body Worker. She has helped me so much and I give out her cards when ever I can! She has decades of experience helping people from her Registered Nursing years, and now is providing more specific support with Bowenwork using an applied Tensegrity Medicine approach. Everyone needs to try this. It's wonderful.
