I have been going to this place for many years now and was very much disappointed with my experience yesterday. I called and made an appointment for the person I wanted. I showed up and was told the person I made the appointment for was no longer available, so I asked for the other person I like. The front desk guy told me I'll have to wait for fifteen minutes and I agreed. He was nice enough to offer me a massage bed to lay down. Over 20 minutes later, a person I didn't ask for came and did my massage. She wasn't bad but not good either and I was not happy that I didn't get the person I asked for. I generally get the foot massage which is $40 now and I tip $9 since they charge a service fee of $1 for credit card payments. I used to tip lower than that but increased it because of the good massages I was getting. Yesterday, I wrote a tip of $6 and the front desk guy said I need to give at least $10. And he kept insisting that I need to tip $10. I did not like how they forced me to tip more when their service was so poor and the massage was not that great either. Because of this, I won't be going there anymore even though it was convenient for me and there were couple of people who does very good job.

I went in on a Monday around 4:45 p.m. expecting a proper massage, but the entire experience was very disappointing. I was told the the person I got is named Mary. She used very little pressure throughout the session. Although she did not speak or understand English, I clearly communicated several times that I wanted more pressure. One of her coworkers also translated my request. Despite this, she only increased the pressure on the bottom of my feet for a brief moment. The rest of my body—including my neck, legs, arms, and hands—received very little pressure and was barely massaged. Her technique was inconsistent, and much of the session felt like lotion was simply being rubbed onto my skin rather than an actual massage. Even after my requests were translated, she did not adjust her technique or apply appropriate pressure to the other areas. The lack of massage was so disappointing that I decided to end the session halfway through. I was still charged for half of the service. Paying half the price for a session that felt more like lotion being applied than an actual massage was extremely frustrating and felt like a waste of money.

Something felt very different about this place on my second visit. I came here over the weekend with my spouse and had a pleasant experience—a relaxing foot massage and a professional atmosphere. However, when I returned during the week, the environment was completely different. There was a steady stream of men coming in and out of the private suites, and I overheard sounds that seemed highly inappropriate for a legitimate massage business. The overall atmosphere made me feel extremely uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about what may be taking place behind closed doors. I hope the appropriate authorities look into these reports to ensure the business is operating legally and professionally and to take the appropriate precautions and procedures if not.

Happy Foot Massage in Covington is my go-to spot for massage therapy! Peter is my guy—he always takes such good care of me. Whether it’s for sports massage, work-related tension, or just a much-needed reset, this is the place. The atmosphere is welcoming, the prices are reasonable, and I always leave feeling renewed, refreshed, and ready to take on life. It’s also super convenient—right across from my favorite gym—and I’ve never had to wait for an appointment. Highly recommend! 👌

Went in for a foot massage Yesreday for 90 min and it was sub par, still went to tip 10 dollars but the lady began to say, “No 20 it was 90 min and you’re a big guy and strong.” I was flabbergasted at what I was hearing but the lobby was full so I didn’t want to make a scene. I gave her a 20 dollars and walked out. I will not be back back. Totally unprofessional

Normally I would not post a review but this was one of the worst experiences ever. When you first walk in, it smells horrible. I came in with my wife for a couples massage. The man up front took us both to the back room with curtains. The little hole where you put your face thru smelled badly as if the sheets were never washed nor changed thoroughly. We both had female ladies massaging us, which kept talking thru out the massage. And the man working up front kept barging into our room during the massage, while my wife’s butt was all exposed during her leg massage. Normally during leg massages, they work one leg at a time while covering your butt with the blanket. When the man kept barging in, I saw the blanket was lifted up exposing both my wife’s legs and butt. I had to give the man a look to get out. I was about to get up and leave with my wife if he came in the 3rd time. It was very inappropriate, I didn’t understand why he couldn’t have waited until after our massages for him to come in and do whatever he needed to do. During the massages, it did not feel relaxing. The lady massaging my wife kept huffing and puffing as if she was tired from giving my wife a massage. The massage didn’t even feel like a massage, they kept rubbing their knuckles back and forth fast and forcibly as if to get it over with. On top of that, there was no lotion or oil that was re-applied as the were doing that, so it was even more painful. Both my wife and I left the place with with marks on our back, and more sore. My wife and I have gone to other Happy Feet Massage and are never disappointed as we were at this location. Should have known It’s not the same franchise since this is Happy Foot.

Buckle up, this was a wild one... My wife and I have been to tons of these little massage places across the US. This was by far the worst experience of my life! It started by walking into the room and being told to use an old fleece blanket as the cover sheet. The face hole at the end of the bed was just open to a gross looking opening in some foam. Luckily a guy came in to cover the face hole with a generic kitchen paper towel, but he didn't find anything wrong with the fleece. The little table that is supposed to be used to place your items was covered in what looked like pieces of someone's spilled lunch. The only other place to put my clothes, other than the stained carpet on the floor, was a small chair. Good enough.. After I convinced myself to crawl under this blanket, I waited ages for a masseuse to come in. She came in with a cover sheet and took the fleece blanket off of me which certainly made me wonder why I was told to cover myself in it. The masseuse apologized for being late yet within moments of starting the massage she began screaming at someone. At first she paused the massage with her hands while she was yelling, then she opened the door to whoever wanted to see me while continuing to yell, and then she decided to slam the door over and over as she was yelling. She apologized again and started 'massaging' again. At this point the massage felt more like stress relief for her then a relaxing hour for me. She would freeze in position any time she heard someone speaking above a whisper. Once she was able to hear enough of the conversation then she would start yelling again. I struggled to stay through all of this, but I was desperately hoping that my wife and mother were receiving decent messages in the other rooms. It was the most stressful massage on my life as I wanted to get up and leave, but the masseuse kept storming back into the room every time she left. At one point, she brought in hot stones which I thought was a nice touch. I wasn't told about hot stones so that was a nice little bonus. The experience amounted to 3 or 4 movements up and down my back and then we were done with the stones. This was all happening while the guy in the back was hocking and spitting, while the women up front were sniffling or arguing at slightly more quiet volumes than the previous yelling. The bed itself was caved in to the center, so my body kept feeling like an anxious, stressed out human hot dog. The stretches and elongating portions lasted about 1 second each. Any other massage holds the stretching portion for a few moments, which feels great. The rotten cherry on top was her phone being placed right beside my head when I was face down and then having it vibrate from calls and texts. I don't know why I tipped anything at the end other than avoiding one of those horror stories where the ladies chase you out screaming at you for being cheap. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!!

My husband and I were looking for a fun date and decided to try this place last minute. After one hour of the best massage we ever had, we decided that this is going to be one of the treats we are going to allow ourselves to have more often. The 60 min body and foot massage was absolute bliss! Thank you to all the kind people there. The calming music was a plus!

Zero chance the owner is actually taking these reviews seriously. My wife just went in and decided to tip 5 dollars only to be yelled at and told she “needs to tip twenty since your friend tipped well”. Place is full of rude staff that just treat you like you’re not a paying customer, yell at you if you don’t tip to their standard, and do there best to rush you out.
