Nice employee's - vision from reference picture achieved - bounced my service between three people. Got my nails done with gel polish ($15 extra) Tuesday night for a Thursday morning wedding (as guest) but had already lost 4 nails of polish. On rest of nails edge of polish is lifting and likely not make it a week.

OK, I was super hopeful and now just unhappy all around. I been going here consistently since this beginning of 2025. Even recommended friends and family who also started going consistently. Started out so great. Not over booking and accepting every walkin over scheduled repeat customers. That has changed. The main staff (managers or owners- not sure which) that were running the shop up until Id say maybe June-July after being told they were on vacation then being told they moved out of state not be returning. I get builder gel with shellac pedicure I believe there is one person maybe two at this point that knows how to do all services ie- gel, shellac etc the others from my observations just prep nails ie- remove old polish and do pedicures. which is fine, but should not agree to walkins as your scheduled customers are still waiting to be acknowledged or agree to a last-minute appointment over phone if your schedule is already booked. It's kind of ironic, a local Facebook page was just praising this place six months ago for having the exact opposite atmosphere and maybe they just got busier due to this. I tried four times to feel out this change in management and have not received a service that even compares to what it was months ago. It is sad. I really liked Tommy, Sera always great work and super friendly but it is not the same. In my opinion polish was never even super streaky-side note was paying a $10 upgrade for a particular polish that I like that has the option for Matte finish- matte or not $10 up charge, ok love the color but paying $10 for streaky polish with defects plus cost of the services sucks. The builder gel was never shaped evenly- wavy nails and pedicures are ok but they started cutting parts out that they list are included. The particular pedicure I get every time states you're allowed to pick scent and now apparently they don't let you and they seem to pick whatever they need to use up I think it has been olive oil or olive something they have been using. Don't love that I had to dig the excess gel polish from out from the sides of each toe nail folds and cuticle. Had to ask them to clean under the nails during pedicure- would think it is part of a basic pedicure let alone the higher end one I always chose. I usually try to tip in cash, but don't carry it often so will use it anytime I have it.The last two times the new manager was very pushy and adamant I pay with cash and told me to go next-door to get cash to pay for my services and that she was fine with me leaving because she "trusted me". That was weird had never been pushed somewhere at time of payment to pay in cash. Anyways, I did find a new salon just down the road off of Petrovitsky but was going to try MV again and have a girls afternoon with my mom and do a polish change, but sat there for about 40 minutes and asked the girl that had started my mom's pedicure If she know who would be to be changing my polish and she just smiled and nodded laughed and said no not sure- 3 people had already walked in and they had 4 clients still being worked on or waiting and me waiting. I just let my mom know we could meet up later but clearly they did not have the time for the appointment that they had agreed to and set. Sadly, they probably did me a favor. I will attach photos of last visit in- this $10 polish upgrade that was splotchy and see-through on every nail along with the finishing in nail folds. Really wanted to support just not the same.

My experience was wonderful. The service is amazing. Lily did my nails and was very kind and friendly. I’m in love with my nails and will definitely be going back. I recommend going here next time you want your nails done. Update: I’ve gotten my nails done here 3 more time from last time. I love the place and the service.

6/17-Saw a special to try this place out and glad we went. Nelly did my pedicure and Sarah did my full set ombre. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and it came out pretty close. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. Will definitely be going back! 7/11 back for my fill and another picture I wanted to try and it came out just like I wanted!! I love it!! They are a great family run business. Very thorough and professional unlike other places. Everyone should give them a try I am sure you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to go back.

I have lived in MV for 6 years & today was my first visit to MV Nails. I wish I had gone much sooner! I have been to other salons in the area but I really loved my experience & the quality of service. I asked for oval-shaped french tips & they came out beautiful! My nail tech was Tommy (I'm pretty sure that's his name) & he was very precise in his work. The salon is very neat & clean & well staffed. I noticed a few other techs using their downtime to practice working on nail art techniques, which I think is really wonderful. I will absolutely be back!!!

I went here and saw Kaylin for the first time today and she did a wonderful job. She was very personable, had great attention to detail, and was very gentle on my nails. My nails look amazing, highly recommend and will definitely be back :)

I read a recent review on how this place was under new management. I have been looking for a new salon since losing my long time nail gal. Like the lady that wrote the review I swear I’d never try MV again… but in her review she was pleasantly surprised. Well I’m here to say the same thing. My nails look absolutely perfect. Told her which nails I was having some issues with, described how I like them shaped. She wasn’t to fast and wasn’t to slow. I saw Sera. She is wonderful and will definitely be going back for my fills. Hope this helps someone.

Removed dip and added a pretty summer shade of shellac. Such nice employees, will return ✅. 4/4 returned for a pedicure. Well done, relaxing and still think they’re the nicest employees! I don’t pamper myself often so it’s nice and my first choice.

I stopped in for the first time while in the area for work and requested a gel x manicure with extensions. This is a service I get regularly and can generally go 3-4 weeks and they still look great. This time, not so much. Within 6 hours the first one had popped right off. Within 36 hours I was missing 3 and now barely 48 hours later 5 have popped off. For a $70 service this isn’t acceptable. I have press on nails that last considerably longer! I live out of the area and a)can’t get back down there b) don’t trust them to properly fix so I requested some sort of refund for service. Offered to send photos. I was told no and that I said they were beautiful as I was leaving—well at that point I still had 10 nails. Save yourself a similar fate and go to one of the dozen other salons I saw nearby.

Came in last minute. The beautiful young lady that did my nails was a gem. The whole crew was. She did an amazing job at my long almond shaped acrylics. Good convo, good work. Definitely will be back.
