I'm so disappointed in my short experience here. I don't recommend this place. They do not have the courtesy to notify patients ahead of time to let them know their therapist isn't in for the day. I wasted 1.5 hours out of my day for nothing, don't let that be you. I scheduled an appointment with Jennifer on Wednesday, April 30th, for Friday, May 2nd, at 12:15pm. I took time off work for the appointment. Today, May 2nd, I arrived at 11:50am, and the receptionist greeted me and asked if I was there to see Jennifer. I said, yes. She said she wasn't sure what paperwork was needed but asked me to fill out forms that were sitting on the counter for my appointment. At 12:10pm, another lady asked me if I was there to see Jennifer, and I said that I was. She then told me that Jennifer did not show up for work today. She apologized and nothing against her or the receptionist, but they knew to expect me but no one had the courtesy to call me ahead of time to tell me not to show up because my massage therapist didn't bother to show up today? I told her I won't be returning because I think it's extremely rude not to call people who had appointments ahead of time, to notify them that they couldn't be seen. She apologized again and said that Jennifer had some personal stuff she's been dealing with. I told her I don't have anything against you guys, but it's rude, and I drove over 30 minutes to get here. (Also, I understand people have personal lives, but you shouldn't tell people who walk in the door that an employee is dealing with personal stuff. That's not an excuse that should be provided to the public.)

I've received massages from Rachel for over a year now. After decades of chronic pain, I'm finally experiencing relief. I've seen many different massage therapists. But Rachel is on a whole different level. She is very knowledgeable about how the body works and which techniques and tools work best for my body. I will continue seeing Rachel for my wellness journey.

I had a massage today by Michelle. She is fantastic! I have a very difficult leg pain and Michelle was awesome. Her understanding of the body and the energetic properties surrounding it is superb! She made sure the pressure was right and was great checking on me and my needs throughout the massage. She really helped with my issues and I feel way better. I will definitely be rescheduling with her again soon. So happy I called. =)

Northwest Myotherapy is truly the best place to receive massage. They are all so caring and willing to go out of their way to accommodate peoples needs. You feel a warm sense of being, an atmosphere that is inviting, it’s unlike any treatment facility I’ve been to. Their expertise in injury rehabilitation is above standard. They work to find the best therapist to fit your needs as well as working with your schedule and insurance needs. I’ve seen each therapist there and they are amazingly knowledgeable and the best healers. I highly recommend Northwest Myotherapy.

Contacted this company for a massage following an auto accident on the recommendation of my chiropractor. I emailed them, contacted them on Instagram, called 2 or 3 times. A few days later got a call back explaining they'd speak to my third party insurance, which they did. I waited a few more days- heard nothing. Called and spoke to an INCREDIBLY rude woman who told me they don't do third party- mind you, I've been calling and spoke directly to Tina who said she'd be willing to do it for me and had been kind and considerate. The admin felt the need to put me in my place when I said consistency is best for clientele, she told me she's been doing this 30 years and know what she's doing. SO RUDE. Don't bother booking an appointment- they don't care if you're injured, they don't provide consistent information and they're hard to get a hold of. Terrible condescending tone. Not good karma!

My experience was so much different than others here. Hopefully it's a fluke. It's taken a few months for me to calm down enough to write this. Trying to get an appt was exhausting. I tried calling, left a couple messages, returned in person. Lots of times the door is locked and you can't gain access to speak with the person managing the office. Another person with direct knowledge of the business caught me in the parking lot once and said I could wait for her help after she was done inventorying items in the trunk of her car. I speak for those of us who need to make the most of our budget we have for person care of a disable family member while we seek healthcare for ourselves....I could not wait for this. Finally, I got a return call, they scheduled me 3 weeks out and asked if I could drop my insurance info by so they could work on that while I waited to be seen. Three weeks later, they had not worked at all on the info I dropped by, which made me nervous. The masseuse was fine at first. She maintains a quiet room, which was nice. During my session she started coughing and I was hoping she would stop and take a break. The only thing she said to me the whole time was "wow this is bad." She gave me instructions of heat and ice, asked me to text her insurance information so she could make treatment plan, and fit me in 5 days later for a follow up. The following week, I showed up for the appt and the door was locked. I knocked but no one answered. I decide to wait, figuring maybe they we caught in traffic. After about 15 minutes, the person managing the office was startled by my presence as she was leaving. I asked about my appt and she checked the calendar...it had been canceled. I received no communication about it being canceled. She said the masseuse I saw was with the previous week was severely ill and didn't offer to reschedule until I said she was in the middle of restoring my rom in my torso and she reluctantly scheduled an appt. I discovered a couple days after making this appt i couldn't make the next appt in 3 weeks, so i called several times to reschedule and never heard from anyone. Finally I decided that it wasn't worth the hassle of trying to track people in this establishment down and I called 3 times asking for confirmation of a canceled appt. You can guess by now: I received none. I showed up (which is a 20 mile drive from home) to make sure it was canceled but the doors were locked and no one was answering the phone. I imagine places like this are swamped because they are the few that take insurance, but if your unable to keep up with the demand, maybe you could kindly state upfront you aren't accepting new patients. I told the doctor (D.O.) that referred me to this clinic about my experience and they will not be referring anyone else here again. I do hope the masseuse I saw is fully recovered, healthy, and able to find enough appts for the income she needs. I feel horrible that this mismanagement effects someone that obviously puts a lot of sweat equity into the physical work she has to do on patients while having what looks like no support for the paperwork that needs to be done. Hopefully, you who are reading this, has a better experience here should you decide to seek healthcare here.

I am so grateful to have Kitty as my therapist. She is simply amazing. Her knowledge and understanding of the body mechanics is phenomenal. It is always raised a question in my head, when she find another pain " storage " " how does she know it"?... In addition, her energy field full of love helps my body to heal. Thank you so much, Kitty, you are fantastic!

I haven't had many professional massages but I have found the place I will get them from now forward. Very clean and easily accessible location and Michelle is wonderful. I have not met the rest of staff yet but hope to one day.

Michelle Allen is a talented and conscientious massage therapist. She listens to me. She is so precise when targeting a painful muscle spasm or migraine to pinpoint the trigger spot and work to alleviate my pain. I highly recommend her.
