My husband and I have stayed here every August since the very 1st weekend it opened, except during Covid year. We can not express enough our love for The Post Hotel, from the kind and friendly staff, amazing food, beautiful and comfortable rooms to the Spa (my favorite part). You will not ever see a cleaning cart in the hallway, never feel hungry because the food is so fulfilling and offers healthy choices. We prefer the terrace rooms, we love that it’s close to grab a cup or early morning or late evening coffee/tea, the terrace patios are nice to enjoy a glass of wine & the view or play a game of cribbage. We park in the underground parking and don’t leave the hotel till our stay has come to an end. We love to read a book by the pool, time in the outdoor spa amenities or just relax with the views. The last few years we have stayed 3 nights which is just perfect for full relaxation before I head back to work as a school bus driver.

Incredible. Dreamy. Amazing location. Romantic and relaxing. Top-notch service. Heavenly amenities. Tasty, chef-cooked food. Comfortable and stylish rooms. Pricey, but worth every penny. We loved everything about our stay and we will be returning every year! Truly a very unique and special experience that was memorable in all of the best ways! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! 5 STARS. Edited to add: The only thing I would change is a bigger gym with more features. This hotel takes personal care to the max so many of us want to take care of our health while we stay. The gym is very tiny and does not accommodate more than a couple of people at one time. It was truly the ONLY letdown.

Excellent stay in a very clean room, quiet spa, delicious breakfast and lunch. The hallways smelled amazing with freshly lit candles. The bed was extremely comfortable! And I heard no other guests from other rooms above/below/beside us. I am a light sleeper, too. I would recommend 150%!

Just recently completed our stay here and sad to say I was rather disappointed. I’ve truly been looking forward to this for monthsss. While the grounds are beautiful and the spa area is immaculate, for the price of the stay it just does not compute to the lack of service provided. Simple requests such as asking for water to be delivered to the room— we were told to use the tap water from the sink and no one would bring water up. We had something delivered to the hotel and asked for it to be delivered to our room and front desk said no, come down and get it yourself. We also had to request our room to be cleaned and turned down, the only thing done was the bed was made and new towels dropped off. Even the four seasons organizes your bathroom essentials. There’s no valet here, no in room dining and really no pool side service which I was shocked about (other than the workers keeping the facilities clean which is greatly appreciated). I would just imagine for such a world renowned hotel it would have more to offer than just a nice pool.

Our anniversary stay was beautiful. The service was wonderful and our room was gorgeous. The spa was also incredible. The *only* downside was another guest who chose to speak very loudly about politics in the sauna with another person who was politely trying to disengage. I think some signage or stricter policy about not speaking loudly or at all in the saunas/steam rooms might be really helpful. Absolutely no one is paying this much a night to hear your dumb opinions, Chad. But I digress… it’s a really beautiful hotel with a stellar staff in a cute little town. Worth the stay, despite the Chad.

I am truly sad to have to write a negative review about Post Hotel Leavenworth. My husband and I have been coming here for the past six years, and every single stay prior to this one has been wonderful. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, the spa facilities are immaculate and incredibly relaxing, and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. As parents of a special needs child, this annual two-night trip is the only time we get away — just the two of us — to rest and recharge. It has always been something we look forward to and deeply appreciate. Unfortunately, during our most recent stay, we had a family emergency involving our child and had to rush home, canceling our second night. While I completely understand that hotels have policies, we lost the full cost of the unused night, and there was no flexibility or compassion shown given the circumstances. I reached out afterward, not even asking for a full refund, but hoping for some understanding — perhaps a partial credit, a future stay credit, or even a gift shop credit. Anything would have gone a long way in showing empathy. Sadly, nothing was offered. What hurts most is not the financial loss, but the lack of sympathy during a very stressful and emotional situation. After six years of loyal visits, I had hoped for a bit more understanding. The experience has left a very bitter taste, and I’m honestly unsure whether we will return. I truly wish this review didn’t have to be written.
