Brian has been my massage therapist for almost 2 years with monthly appointments. His years of experience have been vital in helping me deal with my back pain caused by decades of construction work. His work on my body and has been so important in helping me keep working as a carpenter into my late 60's. He has always been professional and conscientious and I would highly recommend Brian.

If you are looking for a deep tissue/acupressure massage, then avoid booking with Ryoko. She was unable to apply adequate pressure/tension and I unfortunately left with the same discomfort I can with. While paying, she recommended I book with Brian instead since he’s stronger. While she was perfectly pleasant, I wish this had been a conversation before we had started.

Beware! I had an extremely creepy and upsetting experience with Brian Koontz. During my second massage with him, he suggested he position my arm so I didn’t “flash boob.” He then regaled me with two stories of times when women had accidentally done just that. This is not professional language whatsoever. He also talked about a young woman who had modeled for a sculpture course he took. He talked about how she wore a “skimpy bikini” and how this was more “titillating” than if she were naked. He also told me that “no one looks better naked.” He laughed when telling me a male client told him he was envious that Brian got to work with naked women all day. Brian then said that he had “never been sexually attracted to a client.” This is highly inappropriate language in a professional environment. He also commented on my body, asking me if I was the same age as his son, around 35. When I said I was 50, he said I had the body of the 30 year old. This guy is a total creep and should be avoided at all costs. I have filed a complaint with the state regarding his disgusting behavior. Edited to add: Since posting this review another woman reached out to me saying she had a similar experience with this creep. I was also able to view records from the state that indicate this is a clear pattern of behavior.

After moving here, I searched for nearly 11 months to find a massage therapist that was a good fit for me. Low and behold, Brian was only a few minutes away from my work the whole time! He listens to my needs, focuses on problem areas and updates me on things he feels on my body. I've noticed a big difference my back and headaches since I've started going to Poulsbo Massage!

Casey is amazing! Her approach to massage was exactly what I was looking for. I have been dealing with a shoulder injury and she tailored the massage to my specific needs. Casey communicated what was going on throughout the process and provided much more than just a massage, she is extremely educated and that was so reassuring. She was kind, professional, and it was so clear to me that she truly loves what she does. If you’re looking for more in a massage, she is your person!

Highly recommend Poulsbo Massage! I was in the area for a travel nurse contract and wish I had found Brian sooner but was able to get 3 wonderful massages while I was there. Brian is very knowledgeable in his craft and was able to help me relieve some Trouble spots due to weight lifting. I wish I could have brought him back to North Carolina with me! You won’t be disappointed booking with Brian.

Hands down the best massage I have ever had. I had a session with Casey. Not only was she so pleasant to be around, but she also has the hands of an Angel. She really knew what she was doing. And she would tell me everything she was doing, working certain muscles and how they will affect my body. Casey takes additional time in her home life to study her client's needs so that she can better suit them at their next appointment. She is definitely one of a kind and I will be recommending her to everyone I know. She even went above and beyond to do a few minutes extra because my body needed it. On top of that she showed me stretches to help with my problem spots. 100/10 recommend a session with her. You guys need to experience a massage from Casey!!!

Casey Hansen is excellent. I was having trouble with my neck (happens periodically after a car accident several years ago) and struggling to find a local massage therapist who knew how to give an actual medical massage. After just 1/2 hour with Casey she had me back in shape. And she works Sundays! Whole heartedly recommend, particularly if massage is part of your medical/pain management needs.

Oh how lucky I am to have found Casey at Poulsbo Massage. I am hypermobile and have been living in chronic pain for 12 years. No doctor, surgeon, acupuncturist, physiatrist, physical therapist or chiropractor has understood my body and helped me as much as Casey has. Book with her!!! You will be so grateful.

Brian was absolutely amazing, took his time and listened to all of my concerns regarding where I've been having pain and worked those spots as well as others out amazingly,. He even took the time to show me stretches that i can do at home to help in between sessions. I highly recommend getting a massage here & will definitely be back.
