Nikki is a knowledgeable and an "in tune" instructor. Her experience and personality make her a perfect yoga teacher She adapts for all conditions. Yoga is for EVERY BODY.

I am new to yoga. I was hooked though with my first Restorative yoga class at this warm and inviting place. I had a surgery on my shoulder and was doing typical rehab and getting better but still felt weak. I then injured my hip and was pending surgery for that when I first started restorative yoga. I was surprised how comfortable it was to start this new activity. I found that before and after surgery the yoga has helped me become stronger and I am becoming more aware of my body. I love the core and balance class and even Vinyasa, although haven’t resumed that one since hip surgery yet. I had Nikki give me some mindful movements to work on my balance and awareness and strength on my own. This way I can build up and attend more challenging classes. If you’ve never done yoga or you have injuries and are concerned about starting you really should try Restorative yoga classes here. Nikki guides you and teaches you to listen to your body. Her classes really helped with relieving stress from a horrible work day or if you are home raising kids a break to take care of yourself! The studio is welcoming and relaxed. The lighting is warm and comforting. Oddly, just trying to learn to breathe and pay attention to your body improves your mind as well. I’m grateful to have a friend to convince me to try it. I think you will love this center.

Love this studio (it's beautiful) and I love Nikki! I am still fairly new to yoga and Nikki has been an amazing mentor. She meets her students where they are and then encourages them to grow, as they are growing into themselves. It's fun, enlightening, and can be the relaxation or challenge you need..sometimes both. Great classes, great atmosphere!

I joined Rising Sun Wellness Center a few months ago with one goal in mind. I have had a few knee surgeries, and with a very physical job I wanted to strengthen and help speed up my recovery time, and yoga was suggested to me by my doctor. After a few weeks I started to see a difference not only physically but with my outlook on life. I have learned a lot from Nikki and I appreciate the time she takes to guide us through these classes and how she has helped me become better at being me. My time spent at yoga each week has been amazingly beneficial to me. Thank you Rising Sun for all you do!

Rising Sun is a great space. I have loved coming here for over a year and a half. Nikki and Emily have helped me through yoga practices so much. I've become not only stronger in my body, but I have lowered my stress levels as well. I enjoy coming into this space and just having a place to do some self-care. And, I couldn't ask for better people to help guide me.

Such an awesome class and instructor! I had issues with my sciatica, hips, and shoulders. In just one class, I’ve noticed such an amazing difference! I am able to move and sleep better! Even less pain in my body!! Thank you Nikki!!
