Over the years, I have experienced many forms of bodywork in different parts of the world, and I have come to believe that the most important factor is not the modality, but the practitioner. In Denison, I have found that rare combination of talent, technique, and “presence.” In addition to highly effective myofascial work, Denison is a respectful and careful communicator who listens closely to my needs and really “gets my body.” I never find myself guarding, wishing he were working in a different way, or feeling he is focused on the wrong area. He is fully present when discussing what kind of bodywork I need and is totally focused on healing during the session itself. I usually book a 60-minute session, but always wish I had booked 90-minutes because the additional time allows for more comprehensive work and longer-lasting results. After many decades, many injuries, and many practitioners, I can say without hesitation that Denison at The Healing Current stands out as someone with uncommon skill, presence, and intuitive ability. I recommend him highly.

Denison was fantastic! He tailored the session exactly to what I needed. His deep tissue work was strong and effective, and the integration of Thai massage techniques took the whole experience to another level. I walked away feeling completely recharged. Highly recommend!

Denison is truly exceptional. I’ve never had a Thai massage like it— his approach is incredibly effective, and you can tell he’s deeply knowledgeable and studious about his craft. He reads the body so well and uses a wide range of techniques and tools to target exactly what’s needed. He was so good I went back twice in three days and even referred my wife. Easily one of the best massage experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Dennison’s Thai massage is really quite amazing! I think it’s absolutely better and way more detailed than the Thai massages I received while traveling in Thailand. He combines wonderful warm compresses and very detailed muscular work within a Thai framework. I can say it’s truly unique!! Denison is an exceptional bodyworker and healer. I’ve had countless massages over the years and always prioritize finding someone who can truly read the body—someone who knows how to apply just the right amount of pressure to release muscle tension and work through the fascia, all while creating a deeply relaxing experience. My massage with Denison was amazing and I felt relaxed and relief for days. He offered different types of massage and did other modalities like warm compress, cupping and scraping/gua sha. He was very thorough and able to get deep into problematic areas. Meanwhile he was very gentle and cognizant of my knee recovering from a recent surgery. I would highly recommend Denison!

Denison is detailed, meticulous, and great at addressing specific issues. I got a 2.5 hour massage from him and just about died, in a good way. I'm also trained in massage, and have been so impressed with Denison and his development in his practice. Definitely recommend a Thai Herb ball to go with your massage! you won't regret it!

My overall experience with Denison was by far the best massage therapy experience I have ever had! His apt scheduling process was very easy and his availability times easily fit within my very busy schedule. From the minute I walked in he was very friendly, easy to talk to, caring and inquisitive about my neck and back problems so he could provide the type of massage I needed to relieve my pain in these areas. The atmosphere he provides is very calm and relaxing allowing me to focus on my pain relief during the massage. He also took the time to explain his technique to aid in my pain relief as well as suggestions on what I could do at home to help alleviate my pain. He has definitely earned my trust and I will continue to happily be a repeat customer.

Wonderful Thai massage. 2 hours flew by with so much work done. the scraping and cupping was so necessary and helpful, but my partner was terrified when he saw the bruises. (he doesn’t know). but Denison really knows what he’s doing!! also, the only therapist who uses thai herbal compress

Denison's skilled work has made all the difference in my recovery from spinal surgery. I have been visiting Denison for regular weekly myofascial and neuromuscular therapeutic bodywork for about four months now...this man has the ability to get in tune and understand the condition my body is in. With Denison's help I am regaining sensation lost after my surgery. My mobility and coordination are improving...Needless to say that I am very happy with the results and so grateful.

Wow! Denison is an incredible body worker. He is very skilled across different types of massage. He talks through my desires and issues and finds the type of massage that best fits ranging from myofascial to Thai. He is able to do really strong, sustained, pressured touch and also able to get very nuanced and fine in getting into specific places. I feel like he his present and attuning deeply and putting his whole self into the bodywork. He is communicative and professional. He puts a lot of care into the details of his bodywork and adds really special elements like hot towels, cupping, and herbal medicine oils. I have had a lot of bodywork, and was blown away by Denison. I would recommend him most highly!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Denison at Healing Current Bodyworks has been a lifesaver, truly. I’ve been working with him for almost two years now, and I can honestly say his bodywork is in a league of its own. He blends table massage with Thai floor work in a way that’s incredibly intuitive, grounding, and healing. His touch is gentle, yet powerful, and he always seems to know exactly what my body needs. Leading up to my knee replacement surgery at the end of July, I’ve been in a lot of pain. My pelvis, hip, and knees have all been out of alignment and constantly screaming at me. Denison has helped calm that storm. His work brings me relief, balance, and a deep sense of reset. I walk in aching and off-kilter, and I leave feeling centered and cared for. I have been getting massages from Denison for years, he has consistently helped management pain with deep tissue and Thai massage. He knows how to work on scar tissue with his hands and scraping tools. He is consistently bring in new techniques that help on me with managing my pain. Bummer when you injure your ankle right before WCT epic hike. What a relief when I found Denison Wiedman in White Salmon. Four sessions so far to try to get back in the saddle for hiking in the Caucas Mountains in Georgia. He found the hot spots that needed attention, he is strong and slow, cupping and scraping and taking time, my ankle felt better after every visit. He listens and can adjust to your needs and pressure. For anyone in recovery mode he performs his magic. I will continue to see him throughout ski season as well. Bonus points he is in my neighborhood. Be sure to book 90 minutes, for a real through massage. Candy
