Absolutely magical experience with Tracy! Every element was very thoughtful and provided total relaxation. This was my first time ever having a professional massage and Tracy made me feel very comfortable. The location is stunning. I loved the contrast of being on the warm cozy table and having the fresh cool air from the open window. The sounds of the birds felt like they were paid actors. It added so much to the experience. It was everything I wanted. At one point I felt like I was suspended in a marshmallow.

I love The Massage Place - the environment is wonderful, the people are friendly, and they have the cutest most talkative . kitty named Opal. Recently, I had an Ashiatsu massage with a new (to me) therapist, Meg. They did an amazing job. I left feeling very relaxed and pleased. =) I also love working with Itsa; he has helped me tremendously with migraines, fascia stuff, and muscle tension from stress. I've been working with Itsa for over a year.

Meg was exceptional. Took the time to understand my needs and continually checked in with me to make sure the pressure and temperature was okay. The myofascial release was targeted to my areas of concern and I left feeling incredible. It was a calm and inviting atmosphere.

Meg Payne? The best. They are professional and wildly skilled. It’s such a relief to come in with injury or ache or pain and to know that I am in good hands. Meg is a great communicator and well-versed in several modalities. Most recently I’ve worked with them using Ashiatsu - it’s clear they know what they’re doing, as strong, skilled, smart and smooth. Anything they do is a treat - pain management, injury prevention, just to feel good? If you’re not coming to The Massage Place for them, you’re missing out!

Small, lovely and very well-priced massage studio conveniently located in west Olympia. My massage with Meg was possibly the best I've ever had--also really appreciated how she explained what she was doing at each step (when I asked). Highly recommended.

Highly recommend the massage place! I saw a therapist named Itsa and would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with an injury and his approach to your specific injury is amazing. I saw him for a sprain to my joint capsule of my shoulder and couldn’t be any happier. Just after a few appointments I am all healed up.

I received an Ashiatsu massage from Meg Payne and am so happy to have happened across this modality after Meg reached out. I had signed up on the site waitlist for any weekend cancellations. I was very pleased to have found an LGBT provider who made me feel safe and comfortable! I struggle with my body getting wound up and trouble relaxing during massages. Turns out Ashiatsu provides the amount of pressure I need. I also had a much shorter recovery time with other styles of massage. I will be signing up to see Meg regularly!

I have been going to “The Massage Place” for years. It is one of the most wonderfully varied massage places I have ever been! Because it is a collective, there is a great diversity of therapists and styles of practice. I utilize several different therapists due to my personal health issues. One I recommend is, Itsa He uses an intuitive approach combined with stretching and different amounts of pressure depending upon my needs of the day. He really has a true sense of the body and how it could use assistance. I have been receiving massage for about 30 years from all around the world, and I will say that Itsa is one of the most talented therapists I have ever worked with! As I satiated I utilize several therapists here so I want to praise Kassie and Holly as well for their unique and skilled approaches. Kassie is always able to read my body and know when she needs to change the modality to fit my needs! And If I need to just relax, no one can help me more than Holly, I fall asleep nearby every time I’m on her table and I wake up feeling rejuvenated! This is Truly a healing environment full of miracles workers 💖

So many amazing healers in one location. Whatever your desired modality, there is likely someone here that is the perfect fit for your needs. Holly has a profound intuitive approach to ease whatever ails you. She has undone knots that were decades in the making or my having. As an immune-compromised person, I really appreciate the continued thoughtfulness about care during an ongoing epidemic like not having a lot of people in the waiting room or having masks available. As a gender non-binary person, I also appreciate the non-gendered bathroom!
