I had good care experiences here up until today. I have VA Healthcare, so they automatically request a new authorization each year for me to get a yearly check up. This year, they called me and left a voice msg asking me to make an appt since they had the new authorization. I did so and went to my appt today just to be told they didn't have the authorization. They said I would need a new referral. I was so frustrated because I had not gotten a referral in the first place. It was THEM who requested the appointment, not my PCP, and it was THEM who told me to make an appt and that they had the authorization from the VA. I am not upset that they made a mistake concerning the VA authorization, what upsets me is how I was treated at the reception desk. I kept trying to explain that the appointment was requested by Valley Dermatology and I was there to comply with the yearly check up protocol and that it was a call from them that prompted me to make an appt. SO of course it was frustrating to have my day arranged around this appointment and spend the time and gas $ for nothing, just to be treated like the mistake was my fault. I still have respect for the provider I had seen there, Jennifer Williams. But the reception employee did not listen to me and did not show any concern or respect for why I was frustrated. I believe the right thing would have been to get an office manager to look into what I was saying and figure out why the mistake happened (as opposed to ignoring me). OH, then to top it off, I received a voice msg from them a few hours after my failed appt, saying that they now have my authorization number from the VA and I can call and remake my appt. No thanks. RE: OFFICE MGR RESPONSE: After reviewing this internally, we believe the interaction was courteous... Um, no. after reviewing it internally, you know whether the mistake you made was A) you called me to make the appt without an authorization (which was your fault) or B) you had the authorization and falsely told me you didn't (your mistake). Those are the only 2 possibilities that exist in this matter, and you have not taken responsibility for making the mistake either way. And you insult me by describing it as "courteous" to ignore that you had called me to an appt for nothing? These are red flags of this business having no concern for their patients (as many of the other reviews also attest). The providers may be very good (mine was), but the company is GREEDY and has horrible customer service so BEWARE! I find it hard to trust this company when they won't take responsibility for the mistakes they make. I don't know why the office manager thinks deflecting blame, and avoiding accountability benefits anyone, including the company. The vibe I get over all of this is summarized in one word: TOXIC and I am going to try to avoid exposing myself to any more of that.

Everyone was very nice. I was a little nervous, but everyone made me feel right at home. One note: it is a bit confusing to find the lobby, as you enter from the parking lot on the second floor, but the lobby is on the 3rd floor. If you don't take the elevator, it can be a bit confusing. The stairwell doesn't have floor numbers labeled.

This is a very efficient office. Dr. Jones spent a lot of time hearing my concerns and provided great care. I always appreciate when a provider treats their patient with respect and takes the time to listen. For Moh’s, I would not go anywhere else.

Horrible! When making the appt for my skin concern I asked them to check if my insurance was active, I go in and double check everything was fine. 3 months later I receive my bill 300+ I call to ask about it turns out that they took me in even when I asked them to check for my insurance just to make me pay for it. Benjamin jones is a horrible dermatologist, he was making jokes on cutting my skin and sending it to the lab and was never able to tell me what I had he just told the assistant to send tretinoid to my pharmacy. I called again bc I can’t pay this amount of money. Horrible horrible experience I had and they billing department is worse. I don’t recommend they are just profiting off vulnerable elderly people.

I've had several providers, and I did not like them. Dr. Jones is the only provider I can recommend. He's fantastic. Thinks outside the box, warm and caring.

If you would like a gapping wound for 2 months and be on multiple rounds of antibiotics then you’d appreciate this clinic. After cutting himself and having to get a blood test to find out if you had received an infectious disease. And taking 2000 mg of antibiotics on the spot, I have went on to endure everyday wound care and pain followed by a very bad scare! All for a dot of squamous cell carcinoma. I suggest that you pass on this clinic….. Find another clinic and forgo the suffering!

They were great!!! From a prompt call back from a referral from my doctor to quick scheduling of my appointment to arrival/check, the care provided by staff and Doctor was all excellent and far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them.

This is such a high quality medical practice. We were treated so well by Dr Jones & his staff. It is reassuring to know we have such competent care right here locally. In fact, as we were leaving we met a couple who expressed that very thought to us, although in their case they did have a 2-3 hr drive. They felt very fortunate.

Everything was very simple and on point very educational answered all my questions and worries that I had both the doctor and her assistant were very friendly and very helpful it's hard to find those things these days if you're looking for a dermatologist I would highly recommend you pay these guys a visit
