I saw Alice for a 90 minute signature massage this week and it was fantastic! I had a tight knot in my shoulder that had been bothering me for weeks, which she quickly found and completely resolved (and found more tight muscles). Alice made sure I was comfortable with the pressure level throughout and lets you choose from a variety of essential oil scents for the massage. She’s also super friendly and accommodating, which just helps you relax even further. It’s quite nice inside and everything is brand new. The online scheduling through the website worked great too and prices were very fair for the high quality. I’ll definitely be returning very soon! I may also try the scalp or foot massage next time too. I imagine her schedule will fill up quick, so I’d recommend booking ASAP if you’re looking for quality professional massage in Kirkland.

It was my first time and i had an amazing experience. Good atmosphere, very very friendly staff, clean space and smells good. Massage was amazing exactly what i needed. Thank you.

I always try to give the benefit of the doubt and try to err on the side of a slightly higher rating if in between so please excuse this unequivocally blunt review. Website was impressive with some glitches but was able to book online. Wanted an hour foot massage. It was the worst one ever in my life and I've had foot massages everywhere! No pressure, it felt like a baby was doing the massage. I must have dozed off for a bit and noticed that the masseuse would stop massaging me! When I moved my hands she would start up again then stop if she thought I was asleep! Then she straight up asked for whether I would tip on my card or in cash! To top it all off, they had their two dogs lying on a massage table two over in the same room. Hygiene issues? 🤔 That is hour of my life I'll never get back and money wasted. Avoid! Avoid like the plague!

I had such an amazing experience for my first deep tissue massage here. It was so relaxing and the massage therapist was amazing - really good pressure. I love the decor, the plants, and all of the different products used in my deep tissue massage today - including the hot rocks! I will definitely be returning and would suggest others to go here too. I have had massages at 5+ other (medical) places that weren’t up to my standards but at Verdant Retreat they really go all out for you and give you a really thorough and precise massage. Exactly what I was looking for! Will be returning - thank you guys!

I had a perfect massage from Ava today. This isn't a "petting" massage, perfect for sore muscles that won't release on their own. Good amount of stretching and pressure to get my back to feeling better than what I can do on my own with rolling etc.

I went for a massage today. Faith was very professional and treated my shoulder and neck pain very well. Finger massage was so enjoyable. She pointed out my problem accurately，She is my pain reliever. The environment is clean and tidy. It is a good place to relax. Highly recommended!

Your experience will depend on from whom you get the massage. We went for a couple massage and the lady who was doing my massage didn’t know anything about pressure points or massage, my spouse on the other hand liked the massage he got. They were doing foot massage with gloves on and the texture of gloves was not giving good experience. Overall it was not at all relaxing, I won’t call it a massage even.

I am visiting from Denver where it has been very hot and dry. The warm oil and hot stones were exactly when my dehydrated skin needed! My masseuse was amazing! Any knots or muscle aches she found didn't stand a chance with her strong hands, arms and elbows! Highly recommend!

I got the hot stone and oil. The entire session was very relaxing. The products they used at the end had a slight but pleasant scent. The masseuse was very thorough. There was not much verbal communication. I got out with noticeably less discomfort in my shoulder and hip than when I went in.

I had the wonderful opportunity to check out Verdant Retreat. The moment you walk in I was impressed by the peaceful oasis vibe inside. I selected the scalp therapy and cranial massage. Alice, my massage therapist put me in the private room for my consultation which involved some cool tech that took a magnifying look at my scalp. We discovered that I have a sensitive scalp and she hand selected the shampoo, scalp treatment and conditioner. I then undressed from the waist up and was given a plush bath wrap to wear. You lay down on this special massage table that has a built in tub for your head. She placed a weighted blanket on me which instantly made me feel relaxed and I snuggled in for a body scrub massage of my neck, shoulders and upper chest. Then came the essentials oils, a blend of eucalyptus, sandalwood and tree tree. The scent was heavenly. I loved getting my hair washed and the cranial massage put me to sleep, SO good. The pricing structure reminds me of how spa treatments are done in Japan, no tipping, which I was pleasantly surprised to see. If you’re looking for a uniquely relaxing experience, try this one out!
