I've been a client at Winding Circle for almost a year. I found Solaris in a moment of desperation but stayed and have been to sessions almost weekly because Soli is a such a gifted body worker and intuit. Soli's myofascial technique is different from traditional Swedish massage but in my opinion, so much more effective. I find it to be an almost magical experience walking out of the office feeling so much better than when I went in. Soli has helped heal my body from acute issues (like persistent calf tightness), ease my body through an entire pregnancy, and work through other general tightness that has really improved comfort in my body.

I have been receiving massages from Solaris for over a year now and every session gives my body so much relief. I have a physically demanding job and I often come in with lower back and neck pain and Solaris concentrates on relieving the tension by not only working the areas I request, but finding the source of that tension, which often originates somewhere else. Solaris uses a variety of techniques including myofascial release, which is very gentle and effective for injuries or really tender areas. When I broke my leg, this was the only technique that let the surrounding muscles relax while I was healing. At other times they work muscles I didn't know were accessible such as the underside of my shoulder blade or inner back muscles, only reachable through my abdomen. They're massages feel very specific to the needs of my body vs a formulated routine, repeated on every client. I am so happy to be receiving regular massages and highly recommend their services!

Solaris has a true healing gift! The massages I have received from them have unlocked stress patterns in my body that I had almost given up on. They have extensive knowledge paired with a deep intuition, and know exactly how to find where tension is originating from. Beyond an amazing massage, each session also feels like powerful energy work. The practice they have created is cozy and trauma-informed - my nervous system relaxes the moment I walk in the door. Cannot recommend Winding Circle enough! Wish I could gift a session to all of my friends.

The time we spend talking before Solaris does the body work is really impactful, I feel seen and heard and so do my ailments! I have received several massages from Solaris over the last few months, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I do a lot of cycling, hiking, climbing and various other forms of physical activity that make my hips, shoulders and back very tight. In each session Solaris was able to relieve significant tension in my whole body, with both deep tissue work and lighter myofascial work that was new to me and extremely effective. Beyond the physical relief, Solaris provided profound emotional and energetic support and healing during a challenging time of grief, identifying the physical location of trapped emotions and facilitating their release from my body on the spot. I feel safe and held when I am in their space, and I always leave their table feeling lighter, relaxed and able to breathe more deeply. Solaris’ grounding and compassionate presence, their intuitive touch, and their dedication to making bodywork accessible to all makes them a truly standout therapist, and I wholeheartedly recommend their work to anyone looking for both physical relief and a holistic approach to emotional healing.

Soli does a fantastic job. They are very empathetic and can often "feel" the trouble areas. Their approach is very unique; they are gentle but very effective. It has the same benefits of a deep tissue massage yet it doesn't hurt. I've not had the same experience at any other practitioner. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs pain relief or just an extremely relaxing experience.

I am so grateful I discovered Winding Circle late last year. Ever since my first visit, I have been prioritizing at least a visit a month. I'm seeing Soli to work on some chronic pain issues and mix in a bit of relaxation. I really love the style and approach at which the care is provided. I recommended my husband also go visit. And he is also now hooked. I would highly recommend to anyone else that wants a relaxing yet targeted massage

I've had more stress than usual recently and with that also poor sleep. This was discussed before I was on the massage table and a plan was talked through. Of course, as the massage was into forty minutes I fell asleep and woke up feeling so relaxed and rested. The next day I felt much less stress and no after soreness, just relaxed. Now I go back for more when the world's stress is starting to build up again.

Winding Circle is my go-to when my back needs help. It’s such a calm, pleasant space, and Solaris’s demeanor is so reassuring, it’s like a complete reset for my mind and body. I’ve never come away feeling sore or tweaked. It’s hard to find a massage experience this great anywhere, and we’re lucky to have them on Whidbey Island. Highly recommend!

Winding Circle is the safe harbor your body, mind and spirit have been looking for. I began seeing Soli when I felt stuck in my own body — unable to heal properly after a knee surgery and was curious if my inability to resolve the injury was due to trauma trapped inside. Soli’s aptitude to connect with my fascia while working on the regulation of my nervous system has been unlike any treatment I’ve had before. Attention in one place of a certain pain actually becomes a treatment of all discomfort, everywhere. Soli lets the body tell the story, they listen, then the work begins allowing me to feel rested, realigned and enlightened every time. I am always met with compassion, curiosity, and a deep desire to help heal. South Whidbey couldn’t be luckier to have this remarkable practitioner.
